Utd shouldn't be asking anyone to stay. If Ronaldo wants to go let him buy out his contract and disappear. This club needs to realise that only committed players will get them out of the hole they are in.

Fully agree, either Ronaldo comes out declaring his undying love for the club and wanting to finish his career at Old Trafford or he has agreed to have his contract terminated and he is a free agent. United just got rid of the Pogba/Lingard drama squad , no need to ruin another season over off field nonsense.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says it was "unacceptable" that several players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, left Sunday's friendly at Old Trafford against Rayo Vallecano early.

Ronaldo, in his first pre-season game, had been replaced at half-time.

He was pictured leaving with Diogo Dalot, who had sat in the directors' box with several players, all of whom left 10 minutes before the end.

"We are a team and that means you stay until the end," Ten Hag told Viaplay.

"This is unacceptable, for all those involved.

Any club worth their salt would back the manager in this instance, but jersey sales and brand awareness plays a bit part in Manchester United PLC.

Hendersons all mouth. Didn't deserve number 1 spot last season. He ain't that good.  A decent keeper like Ben Foster but forest are his level. He was part of the problem last season. Pity he hadn't been sold.
