It's unreal, just keeps getting darker and darker.
I've seen up to episode 8 of season 5...still trying to find some more downloads or if it's even been released yet.

Definitely not one to be watching with a hangover - have found myself nearly in tears watching it on a Sunday after a heavy night

They have only shown the first 8 episodes of season 5 - last 8 to be shown next year

Up there with the Sopranos in terms of addictiveness imho

Anyone watching Boss season 2? The sex scenes are hilarious, very uncomfortable viewing and add nothing to what is a decent enough show.

Only started season two. Good show so far, but you're right about the gratuitous riding. They basically just wedge 60 seconds of porn into every episode.

Nearing the climax of season four of Dexter, wonderful arc and definitely the show's best season since the first. John Lithgow probably missed out on plenty of dramatic roles through his career because he was so associated with 3rd Rock from the Sun but those roles were lesser for it - this is the first time since Dexter's brother that someone has managed to share the screen with Michael C. Hall in the show and hold their own.

Watched the pilots to 666 Park Avenue, Last Resort and Revenge (yes, I know I'm a year late) recently and all are high quality US network shows (read: don't go in expecting The Sopranos) with refreshing premises. All three's set-ups probably only allow for a season or two of real vitality but that's more than enough for a fun ride.

Speaking of the Sopranos, I finished off the first season of it and it's clear the series is worth most of the acclaim that has went its way. Tony's mother remains a scene stealer.

One of the great performances I've ever seen he was simply awesome and in my opinion the best ending to a Season of a TV show yet.

You ain't seen nothing yet if you've just started season 2....some ridiculous ones coming up.

Season Three of The Walking Dead coming on FX I think tomorrow night, watched first two seasons and thought it was very good (if a bit slow in places) anyone else watch it?

nrico2006

Watched the first 2 series', and season 2 definitely was very slow due to having more episodes.  Saw quite a long trailer for season 3 a few months back and this season looks good and action packed.  This season is make or break really, if it is as slow as the last people will lose interest so they need to really go for it.

I actually thought the slower pace of season two was a very good thing and finally allowed the characters to develop into more than one-or-two note creations. The first half of the season established things that the second half delivered pay-offs to, as well as plenty of action.

It's probably important to note season three will have 16 episodes, whereas the first two had 19 combined - there will be at least a few moments of introspection rather than just non-stop zombie action.
