Home at last from Wexford via Co Kildare and the Leinster Final.
We got our pride back yesterday in a battling performance following our (again) disaster at the start...a Wexford goal in 20 secs.
Some stirring performances on the wettest day I've seen anywhere for many a day.
Brady/McDermott/Keenan/Domican/Higgins/Kilbride all excellent but what about Cathal Cregg in his first game this year after his bad injury. Every blade of grass was  covered by him in one of the best showings by a Ros man for many a day.
Kevin Higgins was excellent when he came on getting two vital points into the bargain.
In the end a draw was f air enough as it would have been rough on any team to lose after a tight tense battle in a bloody monsoon.
Now we have to do it all over again (Sat presumably) so let's get down to it lads.

About as intelligent as your own statement - Play the ball please Rosnarun
merely a use of sarcasm highlighting both groups claim of ownership of the GAA, I am sorry if this offened you . would you like a warning in a  PM 24  hours before my next use of such rhetorical devices

Ahh jasus Rosnarun ya didnt expect them Nordie lads would understand our culture in the West of never taking ourselves too seriously. ;D ;D

I can't see Donie or Connellan being of much assistance in the breaking ball stakes.
Hopefully he'll stick Donie in closer to goal with Senan and have the 2 Creggs out the field.
The defence looks a little stronger than the last day but again we can't afford to leave them exposed like in Castlebar.
So Fergie how about a sweeper behind midfield(like you did on Hanley in Castlebar in 06  ;)) and God knows maybe another behind the HB line?

                                C'mon ROS

Cork play Louth. We play the British Champions so I think we can be reasonably confident of getting there.
However we won the Connacht Final on 31st May so it will basically be a whole new ball game for Mick Jordan as he sees who is available or indeed interested what with Senior call ups, lads gone away for the Summer and Club committments.
We live in hope as always of an 11th All Ireland Title to come to our lovely land.

I'm sure the families and friends of Mr Collins,Mr Geoghegan in Limerick and young Mr Campbell(?) in Dublin will have no objections to this Bill.
I know I havent anyway.

We probably don't realise that they are fine upstanding tolerant Christian men who believe that all Prot people are equal and are God's creatures.  We dont realise that they totally and literally believe in the Christian message -- Love God and Love your neighbour as yourself.
