who knows , the judge who signed search warrant is a former defense attorney for Epstein and a big democrat donor ,the  investigation is being run by the dc division who is run by same guy who came up with the whitmer entrapment kidnapping scheme , the fbi has lied and doctored documents to get warrants against Trump and his associates before so anything is possible.
Strange how the nyt reporter was on weekend news shows setting the stage about documents being flushed down toilets in White House and this happens next day . Bottom line hey want to charge Trump with a crime that stops him from running for public office and this is how they have planned to do it .

Love this!! 😁😁 Would the bottom line not be that he broke a law?

With the change in the building regulations any new homes July this year are going to need either PV panels or air/ground source heat pumps to pass.

Is that in the North Hereiam?

Was there a change recently in the south where you have to put in electric heating systems? Not sure if I picked it up wrong from a southern friend. But he was saying all new houses weren’t allowed oil/ gas/ solid fuel systems? (I’m in the north)

Got k rend about 5 years ago with a new build. Nice job and no issues with it turning green ( had heard that was an issue alright). Plenty of mature trees in the garden as well with no issues.

I didn’t miss the point. I haven’t said anything about what  I think happened. I’m open minded. It was you that wanted to close down one possible scenario by labelling it conspiracy theory. When it’s no more theory than your own.

I’m not closing anything down. Just labelling things for what they are. A conspiracy theory with no evidence to back it up is precisely that.

And those who don’t want to be labelled conspiracy theorists have an open forum to post their supporting evidence.

As for my own “theory” I only put it out there to highlight there are more than one explanation available here. I’m not saying it’s true. I’m just saying that those punting a conspiracy theory don’t even have the excuse that there are no other available explanations other than the theory they are punting.

I watched that Alex Jones debacle yesterday. His Sandy Hook BS doesn’t have any less evidence to support it than the Deep State cover-up theory being pushed here.

A very disturbing murder with several bizarre features has occurred. We all hope it gets solved so at least that small crumb of comfort is there for the distraught family. Regrettably too many serious crimes go unsolved. In addition to the misery that levies on the families it also leaves a void that can get occupied with BS.

There’s a podcast earlier that runs through most of the inconsistencies and lack of information. At a certain point you make a judgement call if it looks like there are holes everywhere and potential incompetence. Then wrap this up with a PII it becomes a case, in the lack of evidence to prove otherwise, that something is being covered up. I might be wrong on that, but to me and seemingly a lot of others, that’s the most likely explanation.

I think you underestimate the level of poverty in ROI as well. Unintentionally I hope. Demand for food banks in ROI increased 70% over covid. The North is not in a good position, so using it as a level of success for ROI isn’t a smart idea.

At the same time MR you have to admit that based on every economic metric going Northern Ireland is much poorer than the South and every region in GB as well.

You may be able to get a bottle of wine for £6 in Newtownabbey and the equivalent may be €9 in the south but you are remunerated accordingly.

Working class loyalists are getting shafted too, but they believe that working class nationalists are worse off so they take some form of comfort in that.

The oldest trick in the book.

I don’t think NI is the worst across the UK in all aspects of poverty. Some of the deeper poverty metrics that look into After housing costs (AHC) rather than just flat income rates show some areas of the UK worse.
That said, it’s a bit like trying to find the positives from finding a turd on your street. Because whatever way you look at it, you’ve still got a turd on your street!!

Relative poverty after housing costs for NI in 2017-2020 was 17%. ROI 13%. A fair difference but not as much as being made out.
Can’t seem to find more up to date figures but I know they usually go in 3 year averages for this.

The “movement” on Twitter has some loons in its ranks, which doesent help at times

Agreed. The family deserve to know and now the public want to but the only people that deserve to know are that poor wee boy's family. I suspect there is a good bit of incompetence going on here from a PSNI perspective too though there is definitely something not right too.

Every victim’s family deserve to know. But people seem to be jumping to the conclusion that something is known by the police about the the circumstances of the death and the identity of the perpetrator
/perpetrators. That is a big assumption.

There are any number of other things that could be the subject of the PII certificate. But it’s likely (given the history of PIIs) that it’s something to do with keeping the identity of informants/agents and their handlers secret. Withholding documents that disclose or heavily suggest their identity would be withheld on PII grounds. The same applies to the justification for redactions. The Noah case is not different in this respect.

Put it another way try finishing the following sentence

“Those who believe that the PII relates to the identity of the perpetrator but have no evidence to back that up are not conspiracy theorists because ……”

Ok so we think the most likely reason for the PII is to 
“something to do with keeping the identity of informants/agents and their handlers secret”. So what other than this informant/agent being involved somewhere in this process would be a likely scenario other than being involved in the death directly? I can’t think of any but very open to listening to any you have?

At a guess the documents/details with a document relate to the feelers the cops put out to see if any informant knew anything. There is no way that would be released to the family. There is your PII right there.

To be absolutely clear PSNI use informants. Especially in areas of high crime. Several groups do not like this. My understanding is that the PSNI have very little to go on in the Noah case. If you look at where the crime occurred it is clear that there will be informants in the surrounding area. If it’s true that the case flummoxed the cops it’s very, very likely that they will have shaken down every street source they had. That info cannot be released.

So when I hear there is a PII cert my instinct is that there is bound to be. If you want to elevate it above that show me some evidence? Something other than a conspiracy theory

But that’s the point. There is no evidence of your version either. Your version is as much a theory as any other. In fact it would be infinitely easier to redact certain documents/ or to use code names of informers on documents regarding interviews etc which they do, than to allow this whole media circus to gather pace to a stage where it is not going to disappear and has added to peoples feelings regarding cover ups. Provide me with evidence that your version is more likely and We’ll talk. Leave out the condescending  conspiracy theory remarks though.

Technology is changing all the time and jobs will become easier to do with less manpower..

I was speaking to the shop assistant the other day and the place has brought in 4 self scanning machines, I was curious to know if they had let people go as they don't need to really serve people anymore, nope, gives them more time to stack shelves and do all the other crap they had to do on top of serving..

Be difficult enough to lose your job for the council I'm sure with that binman job they'll shift him to another sector within the council

Will we see a lot of places (public sector) going on strike action? seems to be a trend

I don't buy the Retail example for a second, the staff that were working on tills are redeployed to other duties surely but when ANY member of staff leaves down the line they are not replaced and the 2.5 till operator staff that was built into overall staff compliment disappears over time and the shop eventually operates with 2.5 fewer people. Self scanners are & will do away with jobs, may take a bit of time but it's a long term play. If I was a small business owner I'd call it progress but if I was a TU Rep I wouldn't.

Public Sector strikes can be headed off with decent pay rises, I doubt anyone is genuinely expecting an 8-10% pay rise but Government has to meet the Public Sector half way in the current circumstances.

It's not the government who pays for these pay increases. It's non PS tax payers who do. More money for the PS means less money for private sector workers.

Really ... it makes no sense? PS workers do not make a net contribution to the tax take (the givernment pay them money and then they give some back to the government). I agree that tax payers money is managed by the government (that's what we elect them to do), and also agree that we expect the  givernment to manage pay awards to the PS. I also agree that private sector workers are not paid by the government.

So with all that said, my 2 points remain:

• It's not the government who pays for these pay increases. It's non PS tax payers who do.
  
• More money for the PS means less money for private sector workers.

WTF. Never one to stick up for PS workers but you seem to be forgetting about the little fact that they are still doing a job. Many are doing jobs that I would not like to take on. And many are on cushy numbers. Either way, your statement is nonsense. PS workers pay as much tax as everyone else ( more than some self employed).  Who their employer is, is irrelevant.

First time ever football AI final tickets on sale on ticketmaster?  Whatever batch was released they were gone within seconds it seems.

was the same last week, rumours of tickets available etc, got there, very little touts  and all seats filled

I heard there were tickets widely available around Jones road and a lot of empty seats inside. A problem with tickets is who's going to buy a print off in the hope that it's valid and hasn't already been used?

No empty seats at the hurling, I think the football had some spaces but few

82,300 for both according to attendances.
