Looks like the writing is on the wall for H & W.

Been reading recent articles in the news, no business expert but when you cant even file your accounts on time surely something is not right.

I would imagine the main asset is the land so no doubt I imagine certain key stakeholders will be happy for the business to fold.

Looking to set up another pension aside from my work pension.  No big expert on these things but can someone tell me what is the organisation / overseeing body that bona fide / genuine pension providers need to be registered with. Plenty of pension companies out there that talk a good game but the last thing I want is a scenario down the line where they and / or my money disappear.

Thanks.

Came across this article, even when I went to J'town several years ago I could not fathom the logic in why people were doing degrees not linked to any real jobs.

It would seem people still have not caught on.

Found this very interesting,  I have sat on a quite a few interview panels and have always found that I subconsciously would not favour anyone once they are 50+ which is kind of hypocritical when I am not far off that  age myself.

At the end of the day we will all have to work to our mid / late 60s therefore can not help but think cases like this will be more common.

These seem as common as muck now, prizes seem unreal for the price of the ticket.  A bit dubious hence have not put my hand in pocket yet so to speak, has anyone any experience of these?

Hi All,

Looking a bit of advice, my 14 year old is looking to get started re lifting weights, I have a bit of knowledge myself so going to start him with some barbells and a bench.  The only thing I am not sure about is that would he be too young to get into the whole tracking calories, bulking, maximising protein etc?  Many thanks.
