Don't really want to get into this on the Derry Laos threat but all il say is there wouldn't be that many calling for head if he had earned us a division 2 title in his first season and put up a decent fist of things against the team that could and should have won the all Ireland and then had 2 tight defeats in the first3 league games of the following season.

Right rather than all the political correctness that we all get up to "it will be a tough game" etc etc.  Im going to just put myself out on a limb and say Derry will win Handy.  There i said it! :)

Maybe u should start

Didnt see many Down fans defending POR a few years ago...

Down fans have great respect for POR and always will. It didn't work out for him as a manager but he was given plenty of time and support while he was in the job. Great players don't always make great managers. POR seems to fall into that bracket. We move on - and we remember the better  days.
Fierce tame altogether

I had to do some checking to fnd out who that was, I'm presuming Dublin?  Could and should have won the All Ireland is a bit of a leap of faith imo.
