If it's not about the money then why are Dublin so far ahead?

At this stage there is no getting away from the fact that cash is king and the Kings of cash are the duds.

Something has to change.

If the Leinster final today was in portlaoise then we have a positive start.

It's also completely unbalanced when the Ross, Mayo, Galway, Donegal and all the rest now have to get up for work in the morning while the well looked after dubs players will be out playing golf on Oliver Barry's course for the day.

Why bother bringing this up?  No body in headquarters cares. They have their cash cow. You can list all the advantages from

Home games for every match
Home dressing room
Easy access for fans
More fans at all home matches
More money
Players don't have to work
Players are all based in the county
Backroom team that would put any professional outfit to shame
Money pumped into clubs
Money pumped into coaches

We've heard them all before.

You left out one bit. We're just better then everyone else at the moment.

World class players. Enjoy them you'll never see a team like this again in your lifetime. They'll be gone in two years and won't be replaced by anything near as good.

That'll give the whingers like you ample opportunity to get back to the top ( if you can)

What's more impressive is that we've done it by producing arguably the best forward unit seen in the modern game. While other teams go down the puke route.

We entertain.

World Class players!!!! An amateur sport played in one country or 2 to be pedantic. Dublin have eaten Leinster and no one cares. Do it without the money and maybe be somebody outside Dublin and the GAA finance department might actually care.

Dinny the only thing Kildare will ever be world class in is whinging. You have a huge population base, great underage system and your senior team are an embarrassement. Smaller counties with a quarter the population regularly show you up.
So there is little point about Kildare worrying about Dublin when they can't even beat counties with a quarter of your resources. You're obsessed with Dublin but you spent the year in Div 3. Why would you worry about Dublin when you're  not on the same elemental chart at present?

Sorry if I'm missing the sarcasm but do the Dublin players not have to work like everyone else?? Who is paying for their upkeep then?

Ha! PWC pay him to walk around the office, day dream about football, touch base with Dublin's professional statistician and professional dietician before his 30 minute drive to training. Such a hard life!

OK, INDIANA, so thats Cian O'Sullivan.

What about the rest of the squad. Can you have a full in depth report on the whole panel posted by tomorrow morning so we can settle this once and for all.

And while you're doing that can you ask all the minors what they plan to do for work after they graduate.

Otherwise we'll know for a fact that you're hiding something from us.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Unlike some Kildare players at least he has  a job. My brother in law is heavily involved down there so I know exactly what professions some of the Kildare players have- so don't start spinning anymore bullshit Dinny

So your argument is to ask about Kildare.

Head out to Hollystown GC tomorrow and the whole squad and backroom team will be out there golfing.

Obviously nothing urgent for them to be working at.

All occupations have been listed on the thread. We don't have 28 year old students like some counties........

To be fair they are entitled to a day off the Monday after a provincial final and good luck .  Most teams club or county enjoy a day off after a final .  The whole questioning should not be aimed at the Dublin players .
