What that means is exactly what it says. It's great to see new players get brought in and given a meaningful taste of league and championship.

There is also a lot of talent there, which means we can go on scoring sprees and look fantastic for periods. All good. So the raw ingredients are there.

What is not evident is a system or structured gameplay to compete with Dublin/Kerry/Derry (and McGuiness back means Donegal are also a much diffeent prospect).

There is zero consistency in the team, from quarter to quarter, never mind game to game.

Nah you've still lost me. Maybe I'm not up to speed with gameplans. You mention Derry, they were a shambles at the weekend. Kerry scraped past Cork. I've must have a simpler outlook. Tyrone went away from home and beat a side just beat Monaghan. Things went badly awry on the black card and need to look at why. Sitting in Breffini Park yesterday wat I saw was Tyrone were the much better team and when it was 15 v 15 Cavan wouldn't have won if we were there to next Tuesday. Next up... Donegal.

You don't think going a man down and how to cope with it is an element that the management should have dealt with in training? I would be asking serious questions about why we opened up so quickly during those 10 mins. That re-organisation lies with management imo.

Tyrone played more as individuals. When they weee put under some pressure in the 2nd half they didn't pull together as a unit and lacked leaders to close out the game. It shows what the team has the potential to do. But whether it's a lack of confidence by the players or lack of game management by the sideline I don't know. The reality is that in patches they can play some nice football. But seem to lack consistency too much to be a threat unfortunately.

Never been a big take away lover. Not sure if it's just in general or the fact most local ones are muck. After a Chinese or chippy I just feel like crap. Love getting to a nice indian but it's a rare occurrence.

Do many still have the auld deep fat fryer? We've never had one since getting married and I vowed never to get one in as I'd fall into the lazy trap to often.
We've an actifry for few years now and love the chips out of it. Missus had to get the ninja there too. And despite initial objections given we already had an air fryer, it's used every day. Oven rarely goes on now unless it's a pasta bake, lasagna etc that doesn't fit in the ninja.

If heating working don't think it's a boiler issue as it's obviously firing. More likely a motorised value or pump issue.
We have an issue with a pump every winter. Pump was clogged as heating wasn't on in house over summer and had to remove and manually spin to release it as it had seized. Easy to do, Allan keys to remove and then screwdriver to spin the pump/ loosen it.

If you follow Linehan and the likes, the debate is much wider than transgender rights and womens' rights being trampled on tho, its also about young people (some highly vulnerable) transitioning at  immature ages, unnecessary surgeries, puberty blockers. Some dangerous stuff becoming orthodoxy.

Wanting to discuss it in a reasonable manner is not anti anything either. That has been a huge part of the problem, debate being shut down, people being black balled & vilified for daring to question anything.

I think most people start of in a reasonable manner but it escalates quickly by both sides. The trying to use extreme scenarios to justify not extending some rights to trans people as mentioned above is bad faith arguments.This just as much as the vilification of people is the issue. It's one of those topics that has fallen into the left/ right identification scale. And as we've seen on here those arguments always end up messy.
I would see myself slightly left of middle. But with mixed viewpoints on the trans issue. It's not an easy subject to navigate.

Was a red for me on first and second viewing. At best reckless, as intent is unknown. But you'll see some given as red and some yellow depending on the ref.

There was disproportionate emphasis put on the feelings and needs of a tiny percentage of the population due to an even smaller percentage within that cohort being headbanger activists, aided and abetted by Liberal voices, bullying dissenting voices (mostly speaking sense). That imbalance thankfully seems to be being addressed. Trans people should have their rights but they shouldn't come at the cost of others.

Both imbalances need to be addressed. Those happy to label other groups freaks etc should also be shouted down. Hopefully that will continue to be challenged by most people.

To be fair, I think you have to give credit to Captain Obvious. He's been doing sterling work there in the back ground, getting into the players heads over the last few weeks. Was only a matter of time before he got them to crack.

The average person has common sense with these freaks. But they get called out for it so are afraid to say much.

I certainly don't view trans people as freaks. Trans rights shouldn't trump womens' rights tho (& their right to feel safe in women only areas), that seemed to be the road it was hurtling down for a long time. A section of the trans movement appear to not want to assimilate into society either. I don't care if they want to assimilate or not but I don't think society should have to put up with some of their outrageous nonsense either. They should have equality in society, they should also respect others in society.

I think this is the case. Most people would have issues with the some of the proposals put forward by the trans movement. But equally most would refrain from calling them freaks. There's people from both sides on this board and all levels in between.

Still, I think Klopp has to at least try. They're not heading to the Bernebeau like last year. Atalanta were superb, but Liverpool were plainly not ready for what they brought. If they do go there properly prepared and up for it, you never know what could happen if they grab the first goal.

Of course, Liverpool have a habit of NOT grabbing the first goal this season!

I see the LGFA aren't putting representatives forward for Feile for the u15 girls part from grade 1. Couldn't organise pitches to get the blitzes run off and this wkend was the last opportunity. Bit of a shambles all round but suppose the excessive bad weather didn't help. Pity for the girls as it can be a great comp!
