Anyone else noticed all the 1-0 scores in the competition so far including all 3 games today. I am going 1-0 in all 3 games tomorrow and fully expect to get my first correct score.

I have no correct scores yet. It is beginning to get to me being stuck in mid table.

England did their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They were dominant in the first half yet changed their approach in the second half and nearly squandereed the game. However the Tunisians were so bad at defending set pieces they handed the English victory.

England looked like they could win by about 10 when they went one nil up but the fact is it is 1-1 at half time. The game still has to be won.

When you think of all the world class forwards who have led the line for Brazil at the World Cups and have become legends.  Doubtful if Firmino will be considered in the same light in years to come. ;)

It was hardly his fault they didn't win he was only on for 10 minutes. Neymar did nothing in the whole 90 minutes

Clare had a convincing win against Limerick today in Ennis by 26 points to 15.  Clare are building up good momentum with three wins on the bounce.

Clare will face Cork in the Munster final. Cork struggled to get by the already eliminated Waterford on a score of 1-23 to 1-20 in Thurles.

Cork and Clare look well matched for the final in what could be another Munster Championship classic. I fancy Clare to edge it.

Dybala didn't get on for Argentina and Higuain only got 10 minutes or so. I would have started both including Messi and Aguero.

Had to review my prediction for teh Germany Mexico game, seeing as the the Mexicans were out on a 24 hour session with up to 30 escorts after the Scottish game!

A good team building exercise. They will be flying by kickoff time.

If the US can't host it on its own then nobody can. 48 teams will require a lot of stadia and infrastructure.

Clare won with some of their best players misfiring. Players like Tony Kelly and the two normally productive corner forwards McGrath and O'Donnell were frozen out of the game for long periods.

Tipp started well but finished poorly in contrast to the two drawn games. They may have suffered from playing four sundays in a row.

The 4th best team in England, who havenít won a cup in years, just got beaten by the most successful club in Europe.

Only one team can win a final. When it happens against you, man up.

Let it go lads.

Whoís not letting it go? This is just PR by Karius to at least make people feel a bit sorry for him.

People already felt sorry for him.

Are you saying Karius got the Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Massachusetts General Hospital (a nationally reknowned medical centre in the US and the teaching hospital for Harvard) to bullshit on his behalf in some half-arsed attempt to save his Liverpool career?

https://www.massgeneral.org/News/newsarticle.aspx?id=6792

If you look it up you will see that John Henry is on the board of Trustees at this hospital. Iíd say itís an attempt to save the lad some face or squeeze a bit more from his transfer fee. Well, thatís what a cynic would say.

This doctor is the leader of the Harvard study on the former NFL players brain injury study. Its not some diploma mill quack. You really think he'd put his credibility on the line in this manner?

Especially when half the people are going to respond in the same "cynical" manner as yourself and others here anway.

Never mind that any club who would be interested is now going to want to review these medical records before even thinking of taking a chance on him.

The lad clearly got hit by Ramos. He fucked up two minutes later. Its not implausible that it would affect him.

If he was concussed would he at least not have gone down injured for a while. Or better yet been replaced by Mignolet before the catastrophe.

Waterford deserved the win and would have got it if not for the umpire messing up. That result would have eliminated Tipp before their final game. That would have suited Clare who I support. Still another great weekend for hurling.

Even though they had a great comeback in the second half Tipp dropped a point today. They can still make it up in the next two games against Waterford at a neutral venue and against Clare in Thurles.
