No they won't, they'll go to bed early and copulate.

Can you not change every time there's a  price increase as the contract you have signed up to has been broken?
You can only change if you are not in a fixed contract and unfortunately they are a cap limit on the number of switches each energy provider can accommodate on a monthly basis so it may take several weeks to switch providers if there is a rush

In ROI?

If a provider breaks a contract by raising their tariff in NI you're entitled to move without penalty, end of story.

If there are blackouts and no street lighting, alarms and cctv etc then crime will absolutely skyrocket.

So let's say   electric rate is 30p a unit, and you change provider and get it for 20p.

If that new provider then raises it by 5p a unit, what do you now pay? The originally  agreed 20p, or the original 20p + the 5p?

You're always on the Standard Tariff minus your discount rate, the Standard rate will rise all winter, we're all fucked but might as well take the discount if available.

You also need to observe the fixed charge. in the South you can get a 40% discount, but with a higher fixed charge. This would still be a good deal for a houehold that used a lot but it didn't add up for me.

Get a magnet

I'd say the smart meter would tell your magnet to f**k away off.

Friend mentioned this and the meter sent an response saying the meter is being tampered with and turned off his electric.. be careful lol
