Has the queues for security at Belfast International Airport calmed down any in the past week or 2?

Aristo 60

I would also like to know this.

GetOverTheBar

Parents went away there about 10 days ago from International on a Monday - said it was about 20 mins.

Anyone been to the Maldives may/June time or anything during the 'rainy/wet' season, going by google they happen often enough but pass quickly and it's still always warm. Are they annoying enough to put you off going back during that period??
Rain might not last long, but it may be overcast a lot..

Also that weather often causes poor visibility conditions off the back and around the 'house reef' for snorkeling.

Anyone know Southern Turkey well - Antalya, Belek, Lara Beach areas....? Are there any good Irish bars or places where GAA can be watched in July?

What is the area like in general? I know it is a great area for golf etc.

Any feedback appreciated

Has anyone been to Russia?

Thinking of going to Helsinki-St Petersburg-Moscow.  Anyone have experience of getting visas for Russian holidays?

playwiththewind1st

Was there in 1987 & 1989...Communist era, so probably not much good to you.  Intourist had a monopoly on the travel back then, so I think you had to go through them for visas as well.

Anyone been skiing Christmas time before? Any recommendations on tour operators/destinations for that time of year?

Most of the packages available start in January it seems.

Go high, like Val d'Isere/Tignes in France or Alpe d'Huez. Chalet holidays can
be really good value for Christmas week. Just DIY it, Easyjet likely to be on the go from before Christmas (they started Gva flights before Christmas last year).

You should check out posts on snowheads.com, loads of great threads that cover this type of question with input from people who can recommend other countries than France.

20% of tickets released on the day aswell so check that out . Get there early and hope for the best. Went there Kings Weekend (their equivalent to St Patrick's day) 2 years ago. Good thing to see while you're there. Can't wait to go back!
