Not really. Found it boring! :-\
Full of the predictable sh1te we've seen many times!
I liked it, thought it was well done. In general Rte are usually very good at these things across most sports. The rugby ones maybe a bit cringe at times alright.
Those slow mo montages usually do my head in but that one wasn't too bad.
If they'd just bring back the old TSG theme tune, that would be great
Surprisingly good however it hits home the disappointment of no live GAA action this summer.

What was thon skit about last night about Ger Loughnane, Las Vegas and basketball? Am I missing something here?

The chats on the Sunday Game are ok, but it's all a bit bright lights. I'm much more enjoying the Tomas O'Se interviews on FB. I'd recommend them if you haven't seen them. Down to earth and interesting.

Where can you get those- what page?
On Facebook search for Benetti menswear, they are the sponsor and their site carries the backlog of interviews. I think Tomás is planning to go solo without Benetti in future.
So far tonight there are 4 Division 1 teams in Ulster and there are no floodlit grounds in Ulster.
Absolute drivel in that football preview. Lazy lazy research. cliche cliche.
Had to laugh at Pat talking up Cork.

Yes, but what have they to discuss?
I know where you are coming from but at least do your homework. At the start of the discussion Spillane was saying GAA should have extended the county season by 2 weeks and then later was arguing for the season being devoted to clubs. Then him bigging up Cork and whelan laughing at him and 2 minutes later Whelan bigging up Meath and Kildare and Spillane laughing at him. Unfortunately they are getting well paid for this.

I'm talking about what the Sunday Game told us tonight.
Spillane said about 3 times that Ulster has 4 D1 teams.
Meanwhile the presenter told us and made an issue out of it that Ulster has no floodlit grounds.
I turned off halfway through the football....pure drivel.
Pat saying the weather conditions will make zero difference was bollix as well. If it's driving wind and rain of course it will make a difference.

Casement Park had a cracking set of floodlights installed about 10 yr ago. Im sure if anyone wants to make a decent offer. Must arrange dismantling and collection themselves.

It's bolix alright but I recall attending inter-county games last May, June where the games was played in driving wind and rain while I also attended club games in October, November and the games was played in pleasant sunshine.
Can never tell with the unpredictable Irish weather.

The GAA are embarking on an unprecedented experiment by playing the jewels in the crown (exclusively summer championships heretofore), when they normally play the provincial club.
Plying them in a concentrated form over 7 or so weeks is madness on top.
They just want to get everything over and done with.
They've cut the grass - if we put down jumpers for goalposts it's game on.
They could just go to that farm that supplies Croke Park and get some turf, lay it and away they go for games. There won't be a big crowd and sure they aren't even using changing rooms nowadays.

Floodlights is one thing, pitches able to withstand poor weather is another and that list gets whittled down greatly.
