Terrible stuff. Was looking forward to Round 7 of the Football but - nothing - and nothing since then.

Egars waltzed through the Sigerson with fantastic insights and overall is a great man to evaluate and have on your side but has gone missing with no explanation.
Certainly starbets who one imagines and would hope were quite rightly proud of him have not bothered telling anyone what has happened to Egar's column.
Come back in some form somewhere Egars wherever you are.
Hope everything is OK.

Starbets.ie went wallop on the first of April Clinker. Closed, shut down, finito. The home page redirects to the Daily Star site now.

It's hard to make money writing in this day and age. Or any day or age, I believe.

As was pointed out, Starbets ceased to operate and so the insight/guesswork (delete as appropriate!) of yours truly was temporarily homeless. However I'm going to do a little bit of work with Betswot, you'll see my first post here - http://www.betswot.com/swots/gaelic-football-gaa-connacht-senior-football-championship-new-york-leitrim/

The brief here is a little bit different - with Starbets there was an onus to feature all the main games, regardless of how weak or strong the value was. Here it's all about the profit, so I'll only be posting if I suspect there is a bet that offers really good value.

So goes the theory anyway!
