I saw the new  X Men movie tonight. Average

6 out of 10
Went to see it last night.  Thought it was pretty good if you like comic hero films 7.5/10.  Hugh Jackman cameo was good

I like all movies as long as they are good. I just don't think the comic book hero movies are all that good.

Seen it a while ago too, that True Grit. Very slow and just plaine boring like, I wish I handn't watched the rest.

The Cohen Brothers.
Millers Crossing 1990
Barton Fink 1991
The Hudsucker Proxy 1993
Fargo 1994
The Big Lebowski 1998
Oh Brother Where Art Thou 2000

Great stuff altogether.......the rest is ok but that is the 10 year span where they were on top of their game.

Orior

Great film on Network 2, starting at 9pm, called A History of Violence.

Maria Bello, woof woof.

Awful movie. Great bouts of completely gratuitous ridin' in it though.

Denn Forever

American History X on ITV4 at 22.00 tonight.

The Iceman

watched Paperman last night.
Maybe I'm not "artsy" enough to get it - obviously I'm not.
We actually persevered to the end and laughed throughout at how bad it was....

Have me 4 year old niece staying with me for the night.
Any reccomendations  on what terrors of this age watch?
I have downloaded Tangled which is some movie based on Rapunzel and also a few Dora cartoons.
What else is there that I can have for her so that I can throw her in front of the telly and hopefully keep her quiet for the night.

Denn Forever

Matilda with Danny DeVito.  Live action Rapunzel really.

Toy Story

Thunderpants

Horton hear a Hoo.  Brother in law and family (6,5 and 2) seen it recently and are raving about it.

Radda bout yeee

Watched city of men last night - if city of god is premier league - i'd put city of men in the conference!!! Watchable though

nrico2006

How the hell did 127 hours get an Oscar nomination?  Critics really don't have a baldy.  Mad story etc but the film was nothing special and it is up there with that Ryan Reynolds buried tripe.

cheers, saves me watching it in a hurry then.

Canalman

Saw The Fighter last night. Very good film. Can't imagine that the the main characters' reallife sisters  (7 of them) would have been too happy as to how they were portrayed in it.
