Maybe it was the time of the month, but I found myself rather emotional a couple of times towards the end.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Yeah it got emotional at the end - but still some funny bits

Bound to be a sequel

A Prophet.

Download it. Subtitled. Class.

A Prophet is very good yeah.

Watched 'Harry Brown' there, bit like a London version of Gran Torino with Michael Cane, only much bleaker and he kills more hoodies.

Not a movie but anyone else seen the new Spartacus: Blood and Sand TV series? I'm frigging hooked, gets the blood up like 300 and gladiator!

Watched it today, f**king desperate
The makers really should know the difference between not being able to lie and saying what you think.

Watched the bounty hunter too, it's not bad, a bit of a laugh.
And watched Shes out of my league, it's ok, worth a watch, don't think I'll be rushing to see it again though.

I don't know the point of us contributors recommeding if everyone's just going to ignore us - there's been a pile of us now who've recommended that nobody ever watch 'Invention of Lying', yet last night, two of ye did, I despair!!

The funny thing is I was forced to watch one of the award ceremonies, probably the golden globes? which ricky gervais was co-hosting, he never shut up about it all night, kept on plugging it and wondering why it wasn't up for any of the awards, bizarre, he must think it's in some way amusing?

I can't stand Gervais, there was a while during the office I didn't mind him too much but he's back to being downright annoying!

Can't agree with that. Yes the Invention of Lying is gash and he wrote it but his sitcoms, standup and the podcasts are all works of genius!

I will put the Invention of Lying down to a rookie mistake, if Cemetery Junction us bad then I'd recommend he stay away from the big screen.

For anyone who hasn't seen it check out the animated series of 'The Ricky Gervais Show' it's fantastic!

Saw Kick Ass tonight. A good movie, not as great as some on here are making out. A lot more hardcore than you would think from watching the trailers.

watched the The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night .... actually had to watch it twice...
still not sure what i make of it... its like  a good film inside a film... think gilliam tried to do to much with it... likes the premise though.

I switched it off after 38 minutes. I thought it was terrible. How did you manage to stick it out twice?  :o

I saw Blind Side last night.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good film.

Saw kick ass there at the weekend myself and thought it was excellent! Really enjoyed it.
Screen, Gervais is the most annoying person I have ever seen and his efforts to be funny screem of someone trying to hard.
