Wouldn't be a big James Bond fan but lay up this afternoon and watched Casino Royale (Daniel Craig one). Very enjoyable...must check out the ones since.

Brilliant show, clever but good old still easy watching, bar the torture scene. Two since IMO have been f**king shite, especially Skyfall, it's shocking bad.

Mightn't bother my hole then.

Loved Skyfall myself.

Left behind... Woejus

I thought Skyfall was the best ever Bond film.
Owen Roe O'Neills GAC, Leckpatrick, Tyrone

The Iceman

Stonehearst Asylum: 7.5/10 Decent show, very watchable, solid cast, nice twists and turns.
The Equalizer: 7/10 Denzel doing what Denzel does. Not a trench coat in sight if any of you were hoping for it though.
Gone girl: At the time a 4 - maybe now an 8/10. One of the biggest mind melters I've watched in a while. Fatal attraction of this era. Well worth watching!

I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

Watched some turkeys recently, namely Lucy, a Most Wanted Man and Before I Go to Sleep.

Sin City 2 was better than I expected it to be, and a film with Joel Edgerton I watched was pretty decent (Wish You Were Here).  Joe was very good.

I thought A Most Wanted Man was great. Classic Le Carre pacing to it and Hoffman was fantastic.

Anyone seen American sniper, or Foxcatcher yet?
Both look very good
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Really disappointed with The Inbetweeners 2. I know it isn't going to be Oscar fodder but it was all a bit lame.

Looking forward to '71 and Nightcralwer which are in the schedule for this week.

Gallsman, if you like LeCarre books check out a guy called Charles Cumming who writes in a similar vein. A Foreign Country and A Colder War are both pretty decent.

During the Christmas break

Francis Ford Cortina's 'The Conversation' starring Gene Hackman. Decent enough ending but brutal apart from that. Far too slow going, artsie pants that hasnt aged well. 4.9-10

Expatriate starring Aaron Eackhart. Enjoyable CIA type job based in Europe. 6.4-10

The new Captain America. Very good I thought 7.5-10

V.I.P. B & W comedy set in the German POW camp. Good craic 7-10

Let's Be Cops. Sweet jayzus, DO NOT WATCH! dire stuff 0.1-10

Seen Foxcatcher.  Dark and depressing from start to finish.  Grim viewing.  Good acting.

Has anyone saw The Drop?  Thought it was very good.  Great ending and Tom Hardy was brilliant in it.

Just watched Nightcrawler  :o. I haven't seen a more horrible character in years. Great film - 9.5.

Just finished watching it also.... Full on creep...slightly asbergers going on.... Decent film, actually held her attention. Cause unless its a boy girl film or daft comedy (friends humour) it's a non starter
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea
