Tyrone have scored 6-54 in their first 3 games(24 point av P/G) , with a largely experimental lineup. Although, it is only January and the opposition wasn't the greatest, this is fair pegging ;) Where are all the puke football enthusiasts?

rosnarun

ah so they choose to play puke football for the rest of the year

You would have though then they would have won all their games then if the opposition was not the best

God do these tyrone ones ever give up  ::)
largely experimental team?
Against Cavan
Jonathon Curran, Dermot Carlin, Justin McMahon, PJ Quinn, Joe McMahon,Kevin Hughes,Stephen O Neil, started and Enda McGinley coming on as a sub.

thats nearly half the team full of regulars who have played championship football.
Against a proper experimental Division 3 teams like Cavan with 4 regulars and missing 13/14 players, its no big deal running up large scores.

mannix

the talent coming through must be eager to impress Harte, if our boys in Mayo would do the same for jom I would be happy.

It was a fairly experimental team. 9 of the Tyrone players that started have never participated in a senior championship match.

Don't you mean it was largely (for Tyrone) experimental football?

Top 3 no argument other than maybe the order.

Next 4 should be about the same.

Dublin 9-1 & Kildare 25-1? I know which is the better value there.

I still think Down will have a good year.

While we are on the subject of puke football, I find it ironic how much Mickey Harte complains about the international rules given that he has single handedly done more to bastardize Gaelic Football than any Aussie rules connection.
