i think Chelsea will win it this season.  They already have a good squad that was perhaps mismanaged initially.  I think they'll also bring in a couple of quality signings... kante could be a big plus.

but sure what the feck do i know... i'll be watching channel 5 for villa this season.

I think Liverpool will win it, and it will probably be mathematically secure around St. Patrick's Day.

Let us know how Jack Grealish is progressing. Hope he had a nice summer watching the Euros from his couch while getting ready to tackle( Grealish tackle! Thats a laugh) the might of the Championship
Lee Harvey Oswald , your country needs you

I'm sure he's devastated to have missed out on an opportunity to languish on the bench as O'Neill favoured workhorses over creative players.

It's not the end of the world you know, I'd even go so far as to say the fans will enjoy it.

Looks like Big Sam is getting the England gig, fair play to him. I'm sure I'll be in the minority but I quite like him..

Rooney would need to wind his neck in a bit now!

Depends on how sensitive the ref is. What can you call him and what can't you say?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Steve Bruce has apparently just resigned as Hull City manager.

Plus 1. Guy worked hard to get where he is now. Have to respect a man who started off in Limerick to get where he is now. Think alot of people will be surprised at how good he will be as an England manager.

His somewhat surly manner in MOTD interviews seems to have clouded judgements.

i know Engalnd is a basket case football team. But losing the plot seems to go with the role of managing it.

If the new manager actually picks a formation that the majority of his players are used to (which is now a 4-2-3-1), and picks players for each position who play regularly in those positions, then his job will be immeasurably easier. No England manager has done that since Hoddle.

If he also picks his squads around impact and specialist subs, rather than personalities and politics, he might actually be able to implement a mid-game plan B as well.

While Sky and co might overestimate their virtues, in terms of squad depth, big match experience and athleticism, they do have better players than all bar a handful of countries in the world, so it shouldn't be that difficult to reflect this in an actual tournament.
