Really puts Offaly in a bad spot. They need to beat antrim and Kerry to avoid finishing joint bottom.
What way does it work if teams finish level on pts

Wasn't a hostile crowd. Some of them seemed down on there own team.

Why?

I must say, you do seem to enjoy trying to rile people! Again, I ask - why?
Our county's name is Laois. I asked nicely, there was no attempt to rile you or anyone.

I'd double on this tbh.

yeah we go into the munster pot if we beat Antrim/Carlow.  Can't get Wexford again,  but can get Westmeath.  The Westmeath game not counted as a repeat fixture.  So once Kilkenny beat Wexford,  and we beat Antrim/Carlow, we can get Offaly, Westmeath or Dublin.  If Kilkenny lose we might get them either.  Don't think that will happen.

Hard to watch. kildare looked miles ahead of us. Thought we were doing ok against the wind till around the 20th minute, Kildare were kicking wides and we were hanging in. Then our energy dropped, Kildare's forwards were getting shots with no pressure and knocking them over and ended up 7 points up at half time.

Second half, with the wind and we looked bet from the start of it. Shocking.

In fairness, it was only in the last quarter that things got really bad. A couple of soft goals, and the heads dropped. KK only piled on the scores, really, in the last 10 minutes, and probably the two last goals were in the last couple of minutes
It was an unfortunate end, sure - but they did all right this year. I don't think there's any need to be overly critical.

yeah lads,  they got something like 4-5 or 5-5 or more in the last 15 minutes, with the wind and the extra player. We weren't good enough, but the scoreline isn't a fair reflection in the team.

I remember the one in the first half. I think the ref was pointing around the place as if it was for persistent fouling. Missed the free in the second half.

The sending off in the second half was a shocker. It appears it was a second yellow card for mouthing back at the ref.

Is that what it was for?  Couldn't tell.

Beating clare ina challenge means nothing ..

Division 4 team beating a Division 2 team?

They are above us at the moment because of what they have done on the pitch.

You might be right but I very much doubt that the rulebook would be applied this way in a match between Kerry and Dublin.
Well it should be surely? Don't the rules apply to all? Anyway, once is one thing, but blocking the run 3 times, then the tackle left him wide open to punishment.

rules never apply to everyone.  Always different set of rules for the smaller counties.

one of the poorest first 25minutes seen from laois in many a day.

this is division 3 and we are making louth look good.

4 passengers in the front 5, and the two midfielders only contribution was to get booked.

on this evidence with 4 away games to come, we will be relegated.

maybe division 3 will be an exercise in proving what players are up to intercounty or otherwise, doran, luttrell and lowry are in the otherwise category.

Didnt take long.
