Yeah juvenile tickets only available from 301-323, which is the lower Cusack by the hill round to the corner of the Davin where it meets the Hogan & then 701-723 on the upper deck.

Double letters in the Davin are pretty good, you have a great view of the pitch if you are back a bit, much better than those corner seats.

Kiely probably too loyal to his half backs yesterday, Hannon in particular should have been hooked as he was in all sorts of bother - as he was in the first game too. It's not as if Limerick don't have options. WOD or Cathal O'Neill to 6

Quote from: imtommygunn on July 05, 2024, 08:51:51 AMThere's 8 unionist MPs in total so you would have thought this was a unionist front? Alliance only got 1 seat which must be hugely disappointing to them.

9 nationalist 8 unionist and 1 alliance. Is that the correct reading of it?

In fairness think Alliance always going to get it tight in East Belfast and North Down.  Happy for Eastwood in Lagan Valley

Eastwood just another one looking for the higher MP salary

What makes you say that?  Would you rather some of the other candidates in LV got in?

That's two different, unrelated things, I could care less who gets in as none of them have any clout or influence in WM.

Eastwood the same as Swann, Nicholl in South Belfast & Claire Hanna previously - sitting MLAs that just want to get to Westminster for the vastly superior salary & expenses.

Quote from: Blowitupref on July 03, 2024, 03:07:21 PMExpected full house for Cork v Limerick on Sunday.  For Saturday Clare v Kilkenny 35,000.
Only terrace tickets left. I'd expect they'll be gone soon.

Really poor attendance expected for Clare v Kilkenny.

Quote from: Saffrongael on July 04, 2024, 08:50:40 AMWhat way does relegation work ? Moneyglass down ?

bottom 4 play offs same as top 4
St Johns v Moneyglass
glenravel v aldergrove

i think these will be the pairings anyway, St Johns and glenravel home advantage
Losers play in final with losers down.
Same format in championship to determine whos relegated outta senior championship. 4 bottom place teams in each group play off with 2 semis and a final.
I think anyway.

Thanks

Sarsfields aren't done yet in Div 2, they need to beat Glenariffe & Loughgiel B, nether have anything to play for (and hope Carryduff don't pick up anymore points)

Quote from: Norm-Peterson on June 29, 2024, 09:52:59 PMPeople are viewing it as an end of an era but Dublin will still win more All Irelands this decade. I said the same after they lost to Mayo in 2021.
I think it will be a Donegal Kerry final.

In the next 3 to 4 years Dublin have to replace 13 players: Cluxton, Murchan, Fitzsimmons, J Small, Kilkenny, MccAffrey, McCarthy, Mannion, Costello, Basquel, Fenton, O'Callaghan, Scully.

And most of those will be in the next 1 to 2 years.
Plus they have to do that without successful minor or u20 teams to pluck from.
If they don't win in 2025, I expect they won't win again this decade.

They appear to have a lot of players around the 31 mark. They could get one more out of that group of players but it would have to be in 2025.

You don't need to have successful U-20 teams, you can take a couple of players each year from those squads. It's not necessary for the team to win a competition to supply a senior team.
