GAA Discussion / Re: Armagh next steps

Not necessarily. Armagh showed white flags against Derry. Kerry in the league and against Monaghan. Didn't go for the win in those three games. Am I wrong?

I can't see why it wouldn't work which would be what we all want anyway. These two fellas are model Tyrone GAA men. If they had won in year 3 as opposed to year 1 there would be no debate. They need a new bounce so additions are needed and I think Tally has the strongest claim. Only for Tally teaching Kerry defenders Kerry would not have won their all Ireland.

Will Armagh defend their way to a national league 2 title. I don't think so. Most of them teams you don't rate will have a go at them and Armagh will bend over and take it..

I think Clifford is a different type of player. He is the Haaland of Gaelic football. He has single handled dragged a fairly average Kerry to an all Ireland and only for a complete one off poor performance he would have had 2 in a row. I think he is always worth going to see and whilst I don't expect Kerry to be back in the mix for a year or two I can see him going on to win 2 or 3 all Irelands in the future.

Who have Dublin played anyone mayo excepted of potential? V handy route to a final one could argue.. Kerry have played many better teams. Could this be a deciding factor?

Has there ever been do few posts about an AI Final?
I thought this being "the Final that everyone wanted(sic)".....we'd be 20 pages in by now ::)
Can't call this game. I've thought long and hard about it, but can't see a clear winner...

is cocaine overdoses that  common

Probably not

But entire towns in rural Ireland are being terrorized by people collecting drug debts

There are feuds going on all over the country over control of the drugs trade with several people murdered

https://www.con-telegraph.ie/2023/07/17/christy-hylands-campaign-against-drugs-in-mayo-is-to-be-applauded/

At the risk of repeating myself (AGAIN) "Cocaine is NOT a very very minor problem"

That is the context of my comment
But you are missing the context; in comparison to alcohol, cocaine abuse is a very very minor problem. Ask any doctor how many patients they have with an alcohol problem. 70% of Irish men and 34% of women aged 15+ are considered to be hazardous drinkers
Are you not simply adding the word abuse in to change the terms of the discussion?
I don't think he was arguing cocaine abuse being an issue,  he was arguing cocaine was an issue.

Alcohol abuse is an issue. The Alcohol industry is not an issue.
Cocaine abuse is not an issue. The cocaine industry is an issue.
The alcohol industry is a huge issue.

Nobody said it wasnt
;D Fcuk me.

Carry on....

Two things can be true at the same time,

Alcohol abuse is pervasive and has been for decades but cocaine is not a very very minor issue.

I was in Ireland recently and heard about an 80 year old woman having a gun put to her head and forced to sell her house to cover a drug debt for a family member
yeh right....

Are you for real? This happens all the time. Cuckooing is a huge problem.
Yes Cuckooing is a big issue

Couldn't see it. They are too talented and are as capable of having a run in the o Neill cup as anyone. Are Coalisland one of the couple of teams carmen as well that have never been in division 2?
