I just drank a £2.59  chenin blanc from Lidl and it was surprisingly nice

I had a lovely bottle of American Viognier the other night from the Clay Station winery.

South African (Cape) Sauvignon blancs (Some of the Chilean SB's not too bad either).
Pinot Grigios or for something really easy to drink a Soave from the Venice area.
