I think this allocation is based on club size or membership. So most of this tranche will go to big senior clubs, alleviating some issues.

Will the "useless" clubs get any more?  ;)
More tickets for Armagh clubs apparently.
Low blow there. Poster already apologised for the comment and deleted it

Hence the winking face  ;)

Up to 200 extra tickets in some cases apparently and no extra tickets for clubs with under 250 members which is fair. Hope everyone thats deserving gets sorted.

Armagh4SamMaguire24

Locsl club got 100 in the second allocation. Theres 250 plus on the waiting list so no luck there.

Anyone has 1 spare please let me know

Said poster is a decent spud and I took it as a tongue-in-cheek comment. I'm sure he'd buy me a pint and vice versa.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on July 22, 2024, 10:34:48 PMHave Armagh the biggest Urban Following of any team outside Dublin?

Seems to be an awful lot of fans from big towns like Lurgan Armagh and Portadown?

Maybe I'm wrong.

Large following in the Lurgan/Portadown/Craigavon area.

Armagh similar and quite a few in the Newry area too.

The enthusiasm in smaller places likes Silverbridge is much are you might see throughout Ireland, but Lurgan is less common in being a town with multiple GAA clubs and a large tradition of following the county team and nicely decorated at the present time.

Score beo on twitter  had a competition for 2 tickets

Winner was supposed to be  announced yesterday but no  word from the grassholes

Did anyone else  enter?

Wtf is going on?

Milltown Row2

Pretty saturated on social media with that house raffle, seems they'd make more money by raffling final tickets.

Is this the first time the GAA president has done such a thing?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Additional train specials running from Dundalk on Sunday morning. Probably suit some of the south Armagh or Newry supporters looking a way down to Dublin.

lurganblue

Long shot but anyone have 3 train tickets from Lurgan/Portadown that they are selling?

Does there seem to be more tickets floating about since the 2nd allocation the clubs got on Tuesday?

It seems there are more people than ever struggling

Armagh Girl

No, there are definitely not any more tickets floating about.  Speaking to colleagues at work from different clubs and it is unreal the amount of club members/fans that actually go to matches that are not going to get tickets.
Yet, i know in the Club we belong to that you could actually sign up for membership last Thursday night and fill your boots with the amount of tickets you wanted. People who have not been to an Armagh match since 2003 (including the in-laws,2 memberships got them 8 tickets - unreal - not 1 penny have they spent on any football in any of those years apart from their membership and they wouldn't know a players name) all showing off about their ticket success, whilst others whom we know who go to all matches (from other clubs) have got no tickets.  In some cases 1 membership got 6 and more tickets. When we heard of some people asking for this amount we asked for our own 2,(even though we are Season Ticket Holders and already had tickets, and we could have asked for more) and have given them to real fans in another neighbouring club.  It is really not fair, and i hope those of you who haven't gotten get sorted.  There is going to be some fall outs in Armagh Clubs after all this is over going by all the talk of colleagues who belong to at least 6 different clubs.  Good Luck to all of you still searching...

Has every club in Armagh confirmed this with you?

If the tickets are handed out to clubs they are going to recognise their own members who volunteer their services year in year out provide sponsorship etc and do the dirty work that keeps the club going and rightly so.  I have some sympathy for the bigger clubs for example clann eireann as they have two mens and two ladies senior team plus volunteers coaches to sort out.

Quit yapping about tickets - christ. If you want to be there badly enough you'd be there
