Think it's hurling is more of an issue but that's nothing new.

Quite a few clubs don't provide a ref and with no repercussions for doing so that isn't going to change any time soon to help the situation

It's scary how quickly things can turn against you when Israel is criticised, headline news on the mainland BBC news, barely mentioned before any of their antics

The Israelis giving another unsettling insight into their mindsets through Louis Theroux, must be his third installment on the topic and they get more brazen and outspoken each time

Does clones have lights??

Not need lights this time of year, plenty of club matches around the country mid week don't throw in till 7 o clock and don't need lights

Looked at that on Score Beo and thought it's a mistake surely...

The floggers are taking the bonfire next to motorways approach "the parade was here first"

Was Paddy Tally coaching these defenders?

Residents in a mixed estate speaking out on the news against Loyalist paramilitary intimidation over flags, don't think I've seen that before, takes balls, I worry how it will end for them when all the PSNI can do is "engage with local community reps"

Quote from: The Trap on April 20, 2025, 03:46:34 PMSurely people are free to have their own opinions without being told how to think?

If you love everything about the new rules that's your prerogative.

If you are more traditional in your views and would like to have seen less change then you are entitled to that opinion too.

How will football get to the stage that we see a packed ground like in Clare for the hurling today?

Because no matter how you think the rules are going the public are not turning up to watch.
Fair comments. Is an emotive issue. I think is tweaks needed still but def a huge improvement.
Don't think football will ever hit the level of the Munster hurling which is do or die with bottom 2 in league of 5 gone. Practically every game is epic. Not so much in Leinster till the quarter finals.

Perfectly demonstrated today with 2 draws between 4 teams who could all realistically dream of winning the Liam McCarthy this year and 1 or possibly 2 aren't going past the group phase

They say noone in Derry is good enough to take the team, so 10s of thousands spent on another blow in only to take the team further backwards, why can't a Derry man just be given a chance?

The players very clearly have a love in for Gallagher, you'd assume they'd have a bit more respect for a fellow Derry man and not some one on the county manager merry go round just looking another big pay packet

And boys said we'd no influence 😜

Now, maybe a bit of promotion of the leagues wouldn't go amiss.....

Last year they done Instagram stories for each round of the league...which was an improvement on before
