Quote from: Captain Obvious on May 11, 2025, 07:41:52 PMNottingham Forest owner made a bit of fool of himself at the end of the game today and on a day his club qualified for European football for the first time in 29 years.

Not the first time, comes across deeply unlikable

Quote from: Mario on May 10, 2025, 09:05:30 PMArmagh away feels slightly more winnable than Donegal in Ballybofey. They have hammered us in our last two games though so will take a vast improvement from us to get anything from the game.

Armagh and Donegal have 2 of the best goalkeepers for kickouts in the country yet both faltered at different times under pressure today... we do not have a GK of that calibre and the pressure will be too much that I can't see us winning that battle.

Add to that the fitness/pace and tactical nous shown by both teams then we have problems because I don't think we're anywhere close on either of those fronts.

Armagh should be facing 3 or 4 suspensions after the disgraceful scenes after the final whistle. I'd say the authorities will go hard to ensure those scenes are never repeated.

Only a couple of years since they done the same thing at headquarters

Donegal player acting the eejit goading Armagh bench, armagh mentor comes on an decks him. Any idea who that Armagh man is?

How ugly could that have got with thousands of fans running onto the pitch, why would your first thought after a win like that be to goad the opposition bench, it wasn't even a bad tempered match

Quote from: flowerpot on May 09, 2025, 12:07:25 PMPlus your county would have to pay for maximum 10 counselling sessions for the poor ref on the receiving end of the FFS comment.

How many refs are you seeing punish that? Hasn't been many 50 yard punishments I've seen yet but I'd say all of them have been for physical infringements and that's from experienced refs who are used to the abuse and new refs

Quote from: GTP on May 08, 2025, 03:47:08 PMWhat position(s) would be open to or suit R Forbes?
I'm not sure many new faces will appear in the starting 15, would be a big risk for a manager to take against Armagh or Donegal away. And if they come in for the two other matches it may be we are either desperate, hit by defections or injuries.

We already are all 3

Derry / Re: Derry Club Football & Hurling original

Be happy enough with no wins this year, saves us extending the misery like happened last year when we struggled to beat Westmeath. finish up early regroup and have a good crack at the Tailteann cup next year

Think it's hurling is more of an issue but that's nothing new.

Quite a few clubs don't provide a ref and with no repercussions for doing so that isn't going to change any time soon to help the situation

It's scary how quickly things can turn against you when Israel is criticised, headline news on the mainland BBC news, barely mentioned before any of their antics

The Israelis giving another unsettling insight into their mindsets through Louis Theroux, must be his third installment on the topic and they get more brazen and outspoken each time

Quote from: 5times5times on April 27, 2025, 06:02:36 PMGame confirmed for clones on Saturday late evening.

Does clones have lights??

Not need lights this time of year, plenty of club matches around the country mid week don't throw in till 7 o clock and don't need lights
