Title: Ex Spurs player Dean Richards dies

aged 36.

I was there for his spurs debut in the 5-3 at the lane.

was an outstanding young defender if i remember correctly, very sad at a young age

Christ that's shocking news for one so young, a fine defender i remember him best during his days at Wolves.

Never knew the man, first heard of him today. Never the less a tragedy to hear someone die so young.

It's not clear from the BBC article what he died from. Tragic regardless.

When at the Saints there was talk he'd be a future England captain--he was that good, naturally talented and a born leader.

Health problems put paid to that though

It was at Wolves that I remember him. Many's the battle he had with us, always admired him. RIP
