Has the education failed these Dublin players? Is it that hard to count to 3

Quote from: ardtole on May 30, 2025, 02:33:08 PMI know it's what ifs, but if Daryl Brannigan had to have made himself available, meaning Daniel Guinness could be pushed up to the half forward line, alongside Liam Kerr (I know), and possibly Danny Magill. And a fully fit Barry O'Hagan alongside Havern in the ff line it would certainly leave Down a lot stronger.

But I'm sure every county could say the same, I'm looking forward to the game on Saturday, hopefully 2 points and have a right crack of Monaghan who we produced our best display against so far this year.
Just on Barry, is he back playing for Clonduff at all or did that horrific injury forceably retire him?

Gordon Lyons waited until after the anthem to take his seat. Would have been hilarious if they played it again once he got to his seat  ;)

Surely that was a tap over free from a breach by Tyrone. Why was it a free only on the half way line?

Quote from: Capt Pat on May 18, 2025, 12:18:50 AMI thought Israel were going to win it when Estonia fell short of their total by one point. The staging of that contest in Israel next year would have been fun.

Funny the UK getting zero points from the public again as well as Switzerland. I think Estonia won the popular vote.
I take it there is some sort of campaign ran by supporters of genocide to flood the system with votes for Israel.
Israel had paid for adverts to vote for Israel on the official Eurovision youtube live stream

I'm sorry but how was that tap an go allowed by Byrne. He was about 15 yards away from the foul

Quote from: on the sideline on May 02, 2025, 04:26:36 PMSee with the forward mark, does the player who caught the mark have to take the free himself after they have played on but referee has deemed no advantage accrued and brings it back to the original mark position?

Back in February we were told by Ulster Council official and referees that if ref decided no advantage had come of the mark after playing on, that anyone could then take the free from the original mark position. I thought this was still the case, but was told otherwise last night.

Look pal, just do whatever the ref tells you and for the love of God don't question it.

Thats the new rule.

Telling people that for years.. but hey ho
We had a game last night where the referee allowed the oppostion to bounce and go twice. When our captain said to him it has to be a solo he told him to go away

A lot of work to get this team up to the standards required to compete in the Sam Maguire. Our ability to finish really cost us the chance to make a game of it today. A few players coming on didn't really get into the game at all. Seems like Laverty has a set list of about 20 players that he wants to use this year. I wish McCrickard got more game time across the two games.

That was a 6 point hammering. Down had their chances to make it a close finish but couldn't take any of the chances. Although Donegal had packed up probably about 50 minutes into the game

Quote from: thebigfullforward on April 19, 2025, 04:11:45 PMAre you allowed to go back to your keeper of you're in the box? Seems to be what the Fermanagh ones are protesting there. Bad mistake from the ref if that's the case
Yes referee was wrong
