The time wasting from Cameroon is unreal…

Guy went down with an injury to his face and he wasn’t even touched!!

You need bring that player to the screen and get him to explain his actions then book him

Could say the same about all the top sides. Spain, Germany, Brazil and even France (Giroud?) lack a Kane, who hasn't scored yet.
With Mpabbe there, I’d still probably pick France as having the best attack. Giroud is obviously limited but does his job, and they need Dembele to consistently pull his weight. Brazil and England next best, lots of options, lots of pace.

I thought Spain’s workrate/intensity wasn’t at Germany’s level. Maybe that was because the game was more important to the Germans. I thought the Germans fully deserved the draw, but very lucky Japan didn’t put them out of the tournament by beating Costa Rica. Japan really messed up and were very disappointing. Germany should hammer Costa Rica, will be interesting to see if Japan can get their act together, but expect Spain to have enough.

After the fantastic joyous scenes at the end of the Morocco-Belgium game, it’s a real pity to the scenes in Brussels with young Moroccan hooligans running amok.

Felt Spain played a bit with the handbrake on tbh, thought they had a few extra gears to go too, the difference was Germany had to work their socks off

In fairness Glass was caught in the head and no free given, while Cargin gained possession from it.

Didn’t feel it was difficult game to ref, possibly 2/3 soft frees which didn’t amount to much

From 'Squinter' on twitter:

"The Leinster rugby squad was given the PA on a flight back from Glasgow to sing 'Ooh, ah, up the Ra.' Consequence? Nothing. A young woman who did it has been subjected to a week of ceaseless vilification, culminating today in holiday pix of her in a bikini in a Sunday paper.
If you joined in this carnival of rank hypocrisy, if you had nothing to say about famous, wealthy, privileged sportsmen and joined this now mental health-threatening pile-on, hang your head. Especially if you are a woman. I hope today she is getting the support she needs."

Nail on the head.

Ah the old mental health card and young woman (she’s 34) card,

I think most people want to know why? What possessed her to do it, at what point she thought it would be funny and then uploading it!!

When the next ejjit does it ( it will happen) will you have the same view?

Also I take it you were fine with the singing in the band hall?

Did you say anything about the Leinster team?

You never asked me, but daft if they did it and sang it to someone who had a parent targeted plus  recorded it and uploaded to social media

Have you link to the singing?

Apparently P F endured hamstring problems mid-week and indeed he would not have been fooled by the results of 'sniper at work' today.
Soft frees indeed and one led to that penalty.

But if some suggest Glen are the real deal and one of the top sides in the country I still take a lot to be persuaded....

If the win the All Ireland would you be saying Cargin were unlucky against the All Ireland winners ;)

When you say they were unlucky MR2 - at what point did you feel they were going to win the game?

Glen had a shocking conversion rate today & only for that would have pulled clear much earlier - I think they’ll be absolutely delighted to go into an Ulster final with people saying their “lucky” to be there 😂

There are points in games when a lucky bounce of the ball or slip can open up an opportunity. Cargin kept in the game to give themselves that chance, unluckily for them it didn’t come up, the game against the Donegal champions showed that it can happen.

Did you see anything to tell you they’ll improve on last years performance?

They are ranked 2nd but the rankings are rubbish apparently because those nations from outside Europe never played those big European teams!

Asses handed to them on a plate!

50:50, what 2 games did you watch this wkend, Kilcoo clear favourites. Glen blow very hot or very cold, you don't know who turn up.

Glen very average today, got job done though.  Kilcoo have nothing to prove, they’ve been there done that so pressure on Glen, who would need to approach this game with a massive improvement on todays performance,,

Cargin unlucky and showed that Glen are not a powerhouse so many people thought

Massive effort and huge shift put in, pitch seemed heavy. Slowed things down a bit

Cargin unlucky on some shot selections some frees going against them also

Wasn’t pretty but tense

Was pretty tense

Although beaten Cargin can stand tall as some said a few chances (Poor shot selections) were missed our lads came close and raised the Saffron profile.

Those who took the ridiculous 1/12 odds offered would need to have brought a change of underwear to Healey Pk.

Took the 1/1 with a seven point start which was a  insult.

Despite the profile Glen are no big deal and our boys will realise they missed a great opportunity.....and saying naught about the stand in ref.......

What happened to the original ref?

Apparently he was caught on a message board and they banned him from the game.

Making big noise?
