How Canning is allowed big games is a mystery to me. Adds nothing. Happy to moan himself about games. Genuinely dont think hes a Gaelic Football fan.

Why is there a thread here after Sunday's game? Gough had a good game. I suspect it is because of the RTE panel's misplaced outrage on Sunday. Ciaran Whelan has detracted his unwarrented criticism. Do people really take Brolly's analysis seriously?

Cluxton a yard off his line for the peno. I think overall he had an ok game and didnt favour either.

Thats not a very exhaustive list. And ive no idea how you think he favoured Kerry today. Obrien got chopped down ehen through and Lyne fouled near sideline at the death, nothing given. Crucial call at that stage.

The last thing they need now is Wacko Jacko joining the squad for obvious reasons. Zebo and Ryan would improve the squad for sure.

Was big advantage to whoever got Meath away in a group with 3 evenly matched big teams. 2 home games for Provincial winner better thsn current system, the Dubs already getting that.

Likely 2 dead rubbs last round in Pool A again. Dubs v Tyrone be a glorified challenge match. The gaa need to hold fire on announcing the fixtures beforehand.

All of a Sludden, Tyrone are the hottest of jollies. They can't see past a comfortable win.

McGeeney's last game in charge was at pretty much same stage in Newbridge 6/7 years ago and easily catered for the crowd although it probably was all ticket.. Stevie O'Neill was inside the white line that day and caused all sorts of problems.

Whatever about the analysts, the Highlights packages are abysmal. They are essentially the briefest of reviews for all but the games which were shown earlier. Wait till you see 8 qualifiers next week squeezed into a 10 minute slot. Result announced as soon as the commentator begins 'reviewing'. At least 3 of these  games, not shown during that day, should get afforded a minimum of 5-7 mins each. Team lineups shown beforehand and best scores and major incidents included. They used to do this 10+ years ago where you could actually get a sense of a game that took place that day. Hardly rocket science.

I'd imagine be last time provincial semis played at Croker. One in Tullamore. Other in Portlaoise. Funny Dubs subs did a bit of a session on pitch after the game yesterday. Long term, not sure what will happen. Practically splitting Dublin won't be easy. And if it doesn't happen I think they should look at possibility of treating Dublin like a separate entity. Rotate which province they play in each year maybe.

Joe is a wind up merchant. I found him quite funny tonight although his consistent interrupting is a bit OTT.

Jim McGuinness idea still the best Ive heard. Scrap preseason tournaments. Start league 2-3 weeks earlier. Teams from Div 1 and 2 qualify for senior All Ireland of 4 groups of 4. Play Provincial Championships before this as currently the case. (In unlikely event that a bolter from Div 3 or 4 win Province then they take 16th position from league and join Senior All Ireland.)
Call the 2nd tier tournament the All Ireland Intermediate Championship. Again 4 groups of 4. Play the final at 2pm before the senior. (You can name the Cup after whichever GAA icon you like )
