7. The Borders (Based around South Armagh/Dundalk/Newry)

There is your first problem, no way are we playing with any of them Down feckers

sure Newry is in Armagh anyway - what are you worried about- and call it the bandits...

QuoteYou certainly are one of the more fickle fan

harsh- very harsh. One of the biggest issues that Liverpool fans have is that after 20 years of pain, we all want to see a return to the top (champions leagues and FA cups do not count- and if the score is 18-18 and you have owned the last decade Man U are in the ascendancy)
The question however is how to we get back to the top- and rafa does waiver- but the facts are pretty simple, Liverpool lack the spending power to compete at the highest level, a bigger stadium will help, but the current owners have no way of financing that , so new owners would seem to be the best option.

be interesting to see how Liverpool compete in the second half of this year with aquilani in with SG in midfield, Torres fit up free from injury and a back line playing with the confidence and tenacity they had at the weekend. As many journalists noted on Saturday if Liverpool could play every game as if it were a must win situation, they would have had a couple of titles under their belt, but poor teams continue to grind out wins against an unmotivated Liverpool team. That lack of motivation lies with either the players or the management, and if the team can lift when their season requires it then the management need to figure out if the resting and rotation strategy needs evaluated more closely. Obviously the days of "the starting 11" making it through a full season are done, but the sub par effort from a rotated team are not going to bring a premiership to anfield.
Which basically bring me back to my point- BC isn't fickle- he's a liverpool nut, it's just the frustration that the liverpool fan faces through a season has us reaching to pin the tail on the donkey in terms of what to fix and how to fix it...

(apologies if that doesn't read well, but it's more of a rant than a well thought out post...)

Thus proving what I'm saying, under investment.

I hear what you're saying- but where do you draw the line, if you invest in omagh, then enniskillen wants it too, then toome etc etc, there has to be a viable return on the investment.
Cities acquire these facilities gradually as they expand as a city gets bigger it gets an airport/another hospital/a theatre/ an operahouse/ night clubs/ good restaurants rather than put these amenities in and then the people will come...

ziggy, its a tough tough sell. there is huge difficulty in persuading a company to put this amount of money into Ireland for core work. Its a tough sell to get someone to transfer from a wall street office to Belfast and say its a promotion. Belfast however does have many of the amenities that an executive has access to in a new york environment including good schools, colleges, night life, health care, transport etc. This rules out any location thats not a reasonably sized city, and unfortunately, despite my best efforts Ballyhegan was not considered either...

You can fool some of the people some of the time etc., this is just another of those headline grabbing announcements, which eventually fail to produce the promised numbers or quality of jobs, and will be forgotten about in a years time, after more serious wastage of public monies by Invest N.I. In the meantime it will probably be employed to off-set the growing dissillusionment with the Stormont Circus, and dig the local politicos out of the latest hole they have dug for themselves
Well Pangurban I think all of what you said goes without saying! We all know the score. Invest NI are clowns who are good for nothing except wasting public money, that's a given. That this was won as a bribe to grease the wheels of another carve up, a given. That the shinners and dupers will be back cap in hand to their masters for another slice of the pie, a given. That they're all f**king useless, a given.

Having said that it is 400 jobs.

Bullshit, if you have no idea what you're talking about- just continue to post bullshit, oh hang on you have that covered, because your information is correct, or not, hang on you have no clue- but sure- hey- go for it...

Are you kidding?

so just to put this in perspective. NYSE is investing just over $600m, guaranteed minimum over the next 4 years with a possibility of that becoming just over $1.1Bn but you are concerned that it wont work out., so maybe we should say this is a bad thing?

are you tKing the piss, please- do me a favour and think about this for a bit, and then when you're ready- tell me why this is a bad thing...

Or say you were interested, tell me why we spent over $20m explaining to our investors why this was probably the best value for money on God"s green earth...

I'm here...

see here for why Tebow's unlikely to be a high pick in the draft:

Tebow isn't an NFL quarter back according to a lot of people who know something about it

I've heard plenty of people say that too but don't really understand it. Admittedly my American Football knowledge isn't the most in depth, but everyone I know says that Bradford is the one to go for. However, in last years National Championship game, Tebow ridiculously outshone him and Florida walloped them. He'll be a top 5 pick surely, no?

i have reported only once.

one poster was named, there was a thinly veiled threat to him and his family, and a very explicit allegation made about a named family member of his. I reported that poster and would report anyone who does the same.

QuoteI don't think there's a comment that could make me report somebody, it's an internet discussion board for christ's sake!  So own up you crying, ass licking snitches.
That cover it for you?
