Probably the worst Connacht Final ever.

There's 10.
The Prelim Qtr Finals too.

Yep, football more watchable this year.
Also no boloxology around frees or abusing refs.
Pity the semis were one-sided but the Rules can't do much about the 2 best teams in the Country batin poorer teams.

The doom and gloom lads beginning to crawl back out!!

Quote from: Schkite on July 13, 2025, 05:44:20 PMMost disappointing set of semi finals I can remember for a long time. Can't argue with the teams in the final though, not sure who could say those aren't the two best teams this year. Should be a cracking contest

DnG decent outfit for sure but don't know why they are being so lauded.

Beat 3 x Div 2 teams in Louth, Monaghan and Meath to get to the final.

As handy a set of opponents as there has been in a long time.
Maybe you  staying quiet might be a good idea

Quote from: Schkite on July 13, 2025, 05:29:24 PMChrist Almighty... I know it's not over yet, but when's the last time we've had a winning margin like this in a semi final?

Cork v Mayo in 1993 (20pts)
5-15 v 0-10

Confidence or arrogance?

No lap of honour for Kildare with the cup yesterday?
A bit demeaning I think

From where would you recruit impartial police?

Groups are gone now (unless the Special Congress brings them back - unlikely)
Yes football is watchable and enjoyable again.
You can now watch and enjoy games where you're a neutral.

Quote from: AustinPowers on July 10, 2025, 07:12:39 PMIs the  train  into Drumcondra an option for Ulster teams? From the likes of Dunboyne/Enfield?

Dunboyne just off the M3.
There's a massive car park at the Station there.
Too awkward for most of ye I'd imagine,  but Maynooth usually has a train every half hour but hard to find parking (unless you have in laws there 😁)

For the record I woukd like to have a left of centre candidate to vote for.
However I won't be voting for this lady if she gets selected, or any other pro Putinista.
How anyone describing themselves as left could be supporting a right-wing autocratic cnut like Putin is mind boggling.
