Depends Leenie,

If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never says its not quite as good as his mother made it, is always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want, will never touch the remote, doesn't care about sport, and can sit next to you as you watch YOUR choice movie, who is content to get up on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores, never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually - then get a dog.

But, on the other hand, if you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness...   well you can guess the rest

jaysus, i would like to think  it would  take more than a call to make me come, captain comequick wouldnt have a look in

SO we talked a we bit last night and a we bit this morning. We'll talk proper tonight. Shes unsure whats she wants out of the realationship or where its going. We both love eachother but the fizz, spark (cuddles and sex) has gone a bit, I tried to take a less direct line, by having a glass of wine with her then tried a bit of kissin, but she wasnt fooled by my change of game plan. So they I tried to take mayomans advice, but the box was a no go zone, legs were welded shut. So im left with me head up me hole. A bit of fresher action would be fun, but i couldnt cheat on her the guilt eat me. Thanks so for all the replies so far

OMG.  I wasn't sure if this was the right forum for discussing this but now I know it's OK.  I was on a stag party in Amsterdam when I seen this 6ft 2 blond thing with big shoulders and big thighs hanging around a street corner (turns out that's not the only thing that was big).  To cut a long story short now I have syphilis and the wife is starting to get suspicious.  Has anyone got any advice?

it'll porb be harder to tell her you're gay than to tell her about the STI tbf

i think that people are missing the point here: i think it comes down to love!!

if you love her; do everything in your power to keep her, its a rare and special thing!!
if you don't, you shouldnt have been staying with her for two years, and chances are you haven't been trying hard enough and it is you who has doomed the relationship not the other way about!!

having been a student down in belfast myself i realise that this time of year is very difficult, there's a new breed of weeman runnin around known as "freshers" and thats exactly what they are fresher; fresher lookin, fresher smelling, fresher everything, they havent spent the previous year drinking in the hatfield and eating in the nostra!!

you've probably had your head turned a bit, and thats why you're saying things have been boring etc... in the words of frank the tank you're probably looking at these "freshers" wondering what sort of panties they have on....and they're probably just the standard white cotton panties, but then you start thinkin....what if its silk, or a thong, or something you havent even heard of before.

after seein her mates with their wee nippers runnin around and that you may have realised that maybe you have wasted some of your youth with a woman you may or may not love!! If you would be happier with her than without her then thats the way to go. If not then get out now, ride harder than chris hoy at the olympics, then once you leave uni, and are making your way in the professional world, make her jealous with your armani suits drinking long island iced tea in the appartment. Then she'll realise what she's been missing out on, and you'll have her back (if you want)

that is all

its alright saying that you would go over and deal with the man yourself, but in reality i believe very few would!! calling police is probably the most sensible option! depends on the situation/location etc (size of the da!!!)

the couldnt make an impact when they were at their best 3/4 years ago, think the standard has slipped a bit since then compared to teams from other counties, was at a ch'ship match in tyrone last weekend and it was a very competitive affair, think mayobridge need tougher games in the down ch'ship to set them up for whats ahead in ulster.
(i do believe however that the bridge will find things tougher next season on a number of fronts!)

????
we never seem to get the recognition from the rest of the county, We are champions in senior , premier reserve and minor and are top of senoir , premier reserve and minor leagues, if our thirds win on Sunday we play Ballyholland in a league semi-final !!!! If The standard has slipped, who's fault is that!!!!!!!!

i meant the standard of the senior team has slipped in relation to the rest of the teams in ulster not in the county, all of the above shows what a great year you's have had in down football, i just dont think you's will make an impact in ulster!

So as i was coming home from work today, i noticed how quickly it had gotten dark and was just wondering what all you lovely ppl do of an evening to keep yourselves occupied?
Seriously bored and trying to think of a hobby thats inexpensive and fun?

Maggie, in the same boat myself.  Started to play indoor soccer on Tues and Thurs night, so that breaks up those evenings.  Mondays and Wednesdays are very borrowing.  Home, cook dinner, wash dishes, surf 'tinterent, watch the box.  Much prefer the Tues and Thurs nights.  Fridays = high stool MUSICAL 3!!

Anyone who wants to make money from their wedding and budgets accordingly to do so is a complete tool!!!
Im getting married in 2028 so i've plenty of time to save... lol  ;)

just for the record, i wasnt saying that this is how i would go about doing things, was merely stating that when you look at the figures it might be possible to cover your costs! I agree that anyone that is looking to make money out of their wedding day is an ass hole! but i still think that giving something to cover the cost of your own meal is courteous even if it shouldnt be "expected"

the woman's cousin is getting married tomorrow, she wouldnt let me contribute any money towards the wedding present!  I seen her put about £150 into the card when we were writing it, couldve been more cuz i know she was looking around that day for MORE £50 notes!! I'm from Down and from what i can gather from the weddings i've been to is that £50 a head is about right to cover the cost of the meal etc, maybe it is the norm in tyrone for the amount to be larger. (due to other circumstances we're not even goin to the meal/reception) Only thing i'm worried about now is that i have 3 family weddings next year, (and probably a couple of friends weddings too!) I hope that i dont have to fork out the whole amount for all those weddings!!

with regards to weddings being a money making exercise, i thought this was ridiculous, as i thought the costs were too high. but when you look at the figures; say that the wedding is costing you £25,000, then 250 guests averaging £100 a head and you're breaking even! invite an extra 50 guests; costs dont rise too much (economies of scale etc) and youre onto a winner!!

Thanks Goldenyears.

That Burren finished this year,
Burren should be the team to make life difficult for Bridge next year!!

was this not meant to be the case this year?with eoin mccarten back from injury and james mcgovern back from the states...

yeh was thinking that myself, why not this year? whats goin to change next year?

burren will most certainly not want the bridge to equal their record of 6 ch'ships in a row!!
but i think the standard across the entire league is becoming more uniform, not really much to choose between the top 6 possibly 7 teams, the bridge definitely still have the edge tho with a good minor team coming thru!
