If it is the case that it was environmental protesters then it will have been a massive own goal. Surely they wouldn't be that stupid.

Destroying the environment is even more stupid
Lots of people under 30 care more about the environment than older people do

Somewhat bizarre that with the resources available that this hasn't been sorted in almost 48 hours.

Milltown Row2

Whoever is doing it, is going to get a good kicking by his da! If one gets caught and a serial number is visible then they are toast!

No 'group' has said they have done it, so it's a bunch of kids
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Gatwick shut down again today due to the dreaded "Return of the Drone",
or "Drone 2".
However,
'A spokeswoman said the airport had reopened (after an hour) after operators were reassured that military measures now in place meant it was safe to fly despite a confirmed sighting of a drone'.

Altogether it took the best part of a day to figure out an appropriate military measure  to ensure safety from a drone? You couldn't make this stuff up.

Can't they just follow a drone to see where it lands and who collects it. Hardly rocket science!

Yep.  You'd expect they've come up with a drone that can track another drone by now.

Its odd that in this day and age there isn't any decent footage of these drones. Supposedly there were 50 or so sightings and not one videoed it? yet one wee gaa fight and half the country has a video. Ill get my tinfoil hat.
