For a seasoned G.A.A. man some statements.

Did you hear about The Cavan Man that was stopped by The Gardai coming home from Cork on saturday night. When breathalysed  he was told "consider yourself lucky as you have only four  on you"

 
A possible solution to the above problem could be as follows.
[1] Let the four remaining matches in the back door system be played as planned.
[2]Allow the winners of the above matches be drawn against the beaten provincal finalists as already agreed.
[3] If Louth are unbeaten,let it be agreed they play Meath.
This way a compromise will have been reached by all. As it stands nothing will happen unless Meath agree to a replay.The rules as they stand do not allow for a replay even though the fixture commitee have left Croke Park vacant for sunday, I wonder why
