Thats cuntish in the extreme and very tough on players from both schools, the younger fellas who made it to a county final for Castletown never got to play in it. Thats almost as bad, if not worse than what was done to Knockmay.
It's possible that they were acting the maggot all year and didn't have a "B team" at all. You'd imagine these theoretical younger kids who supposedly got them to the final were coming up against older kids all spring? I'd say it's not one to brag about.

Big win for Mountmellick over Rosenallis tonight in the battle of the two unbeaten teams tonight. 4-9 to 1-7.

The Portlaoise team v Stradbally over the weekend was much changed to the one you'd normally see, even for the league.

PORTLAOISE: Richard Downey; David Holland, Ronan Molloy, Darragh McAuley; Chris Finn, Dean Cullen, Jack Brown; CiarĂ¡n McEvoy, Adrian Kelly; Conor Dunphy, Benny Carroll, Shane Smyth; Ricky Maher, Scott Lawless, Kevin Fitzpatrick. Subs: Aaron Rafter for Cullen (36mins)
Some of them lads won't make the Portlaoise intermediate team for championship.

Kildare should win their semi handy. Dublin only drew with Meath in 60 mins. Laois beat Meath and Kildare cruised past Laois.

The Lilywhites will bring their usual arrogance to the game but yesterday's victory will be a huge boost to the Laois players and they should be in fine fettle for whatever Kildare bring.

Laois?

Only a matter of just toggin out.
True. In fact our lads are considering giving a walkover and going straight to the qualifiers.

Someone told me Portlaoise has more seats available this year than last year. Is that true?
No.

Kildare took over once they switched David Kelly onto the big Laois no 8. Outscored Laois 1-12 to 0-3 after the second Laois goal.

Second game in a row they've finished very strongly. Might not get away with the slow starts against the likes of Dublin.
Who was ye're number 27 (I think) who came on and did well around the midfield area?

Thats telling you wholeheartedly agree with original poster, we won't beat Longford by the way.

I kept my mouth shut in the lead up to this match.

No you didn't. You said we won't beat Longford

I meant in the last couple of days before hand,  either ways it doesn't matter.  I suppose it's a fill-up to those who think all is honky dory.  I do remember it was the same last year after the Dublin game.  Personally wasn't blown away today we got goals at the right time.  Don't think we will be beating Kildare, you all know my thoughts on the manager.   See you after Kildare match.
I doubt if anyone expects us to beat Kildare. You, on the other hand, seem to hope we get hammered. Each to their own I suppose.

Will that be played in Dr Netwatch Cullen Park?
Wasn't it fixed for Portlaoise?
Well done Carlow and what the fk were Laois at in the League?
Yes - Carlow v Dublin fixed for Portlaoise. The same Portlaoise that mysteriously couldn't accommodate all the Dublin fans last year. Leinster Council are c***s.

Maybe someone in the know could confirm this?

is the u14 grade being abolished in 2018 and a new u15 grade being brought in

Also will there be a new u13 grade brought in

Lads out of u12 will hardly be expected to play at u15 (if that level is introduced)
Yes. It's going odd ages the whole way. Under 17, 15, 13, 11 etc.

Whoever was tweeting the scores during the game must have been doing it from a pub as well. Shocking stuff, and then announced Meath as the winners
Agreed. Terrible service. They put up full time beside a number of different second half tweets!
Terrible service? Do they not pretty much update every game, score by score? Sure, the fella on the tiller yesterday made an error, but f**k sake, give him a break. Its most definitely NOT a terrible service. I'd like if they told us scorers too, but all in all, its a fine service, yesterdays glitch aside.
I agree it's generally not a terrible service but it was yesterday which is what I meant.
