And Greece make it 2-0 in the 86th minute.

Place has fairly emptied out now. We'll be having games in Tallaght yet.

Ferguson is coming back from injury. And he's barely 20.
He is valued at €50 million on transfermarkt

Jeez it's just never ending rubbish. Managers change, players change but the end product is the same shit.

What do people expect? Tell me how can we be better than Greece?

Hard watch. Poor auld Houghton sounded annoyed to be even be asked to name an Irish man of the match. Never looked like scoring apart from a deflected shot by Robinson that shaved the post. Teams like Greece can just soak up the one dimensional "pressure" and easily hit on the break.

Heimir Hallgrimsson has had only a couple of days with the players. I'm sure he knows little or nothing about the character of many players. He is going to have to go hunting. The vast majority of players trialled and blooded by Kenny are not even average. At least we know that. He basically has to keep searching. We also have to be a bit more defensive and nasty - be happy with a 0-0.

We need about 6 players. You won't get that overnight. And you can't shove them all in at the same time.

Doherty jogs back for the 2nd goal! A fresh player on the pitch and he leaves the Center Half isolated.

Look-Up!

Some players there clearly finished both ability and attitude wise for us.

Some good honest players there too with limited quality. Played some very nice football at times in opposition half.

But, confidence wise in the final third, we are beyond hopeless. Pundits said we can't create goal scoring opportunities. I disagree. We had two free headers from 6 yards and a free tee up from 8. Couldn't work the goalie. When these opportunities fall to our players in the box, it looks like they've never played football before at any level. Ball bounces off their shoulders, shins, knees, you name it. Eventually the frustration spreads through the whole team and we crumble.

Don't know how we'll fix that long term but a goal of any description would be a start.

Time to do a Lawrie Sanchez  and take the team on  a tour to the Carribbean to play the likes of  St Kitts and Nevis  and the Virgin islands

Bang in a few goals  and get the confidence up.

Norn got a few decent  results after do the same years  ago.

Not much room in the Football Calendar for going on a tour like that. Also the FAI are broke and would not be able to finance that. Finally, chances are we'd do shite and what would we do then.

I'm away on holidays so didn't see a minute of either game but that's where we are.

Some v poor players and lads who we thought had potential are stale.

Knight is one I had hopes for but no. Midfield is poor and Idah seems incapable of using his size and speed.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.
