Quote from: Duine Inteacht Eile on February 11, 2025, 11:27:43 AMQuite the opposite. I don't want it moved out of Corrigan. You do!
If we do that, it may as well be Newry as Ballycastle.

If the Ulster Council say we can't play in Corrigan then Ballycastle is the next best Venue within our county.

I'm all for Corrigan and hope we stand our ground.

After you've sold the farm lads, make sure and sell the house aswell.

Roll over and get the bellies tickled there sure.

Quote from: Duine Inteacht Eile on February 11, 2025, 10:09:35 AMOf what advantage would it be to us to play it in Ballycastle? May as well play it in a neutral venue of the Ulster Council's choosing than move it to Ballycastle.

It's in the county. It's a county ground. It holds more than Casement.

Quote from: Derry Man on February 09, 2025, 10:46:15 PMBizarre comments from McManus. Is he trying to protect the Hurlers from punishment if the footballers don't play?

What did Mc Manus say?

So that was it? He didn't say they have to move the game elsewhere, he's just asked the question how do we pick the fans that get to the game.. Move it to Ballycastle holds 4,900

I agree, Ballycastle is the place for it and I'm not saying it in jest.

It was one of those days yesterday, the calls on social media about Davy not getting another job after this one are laughable. People need to relax in my opinion. We've had poor performances before and we will again.

Quote from: RedHand88 on February 07, 2025, 01:22:46 PMUnpopular opinion, but I'm leaning towards Ulster GAA on this. Corrigan Park is not fit for purpose for an Ulster Championship match. Antrim have the opportunity to host the game, it is up to them to find a venue suitable.
This isn't like the Newbridge debacle a few years back which was an obvious cash grab.

Antrim had a venue suitable to host it and were told to hand the keys over to the Ulster Council. That project failed. If it's not Corrigan, take it to Ahoghill. Feck Ulster.

Sure why not take it to Ballycastle?

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on February 02, 2025, 12:45:40 PMManagers shouldn't have to 'seek' players out, players should make themselves available, it's a privilege in any other county but Antrim to represent it.

For once we agree. It should be every young players dream to wear the saffron

With City men in charge.

Why? The South West have carried the county for years. They need a break.

Certainly carried the county all the way to Division 4.

Quote from: Saffron71 on January 29, 2025, 06:32:46 PMYea less games make no sense tbh.  The only reason I can think of Loughgeil wanting a one way league is so that they can potentially plan a few trips down south to play challenge games maybe.

Why would they do that?
