GAA Discussion / Injuries

Are players now coming back to play too soon after injuries. McBrearty was back yesterday and though he played well, didn't appear to be fully fit. Keegan came back for Mayo sooner than expected after 2 hip operations, what are the chances later in the year that he'll tog straight away after rehab. We had COC playing a few years back with a dislocated shoulder, he dislocated it 3 times before surgery, and Henry Shefflin trying to play with a cruciate injury. This seems to be the case in particular with big name players, if anything these fellas should probably be given extra time to recuperate with all the wear and tear many of them endure.

GAA Discussion / Gamesmanship

Seems to be an accepted part of the game now and a legitimate tactic to be employed by any manager/team especially when looking to protect a lead. Even Darragh O'Shea was saying last year that some of the Kerry lads should've gone down to kill momentum in the AIF. When it's your own team you tend to ignore it but if you're on the receiving end it's frustrating beyond belief Having a clock for the timekeeping would certainly help with some of the antics but it needs addressing as it's becoming a scourge.
