Have to feel for the Derrylaughan lad at the end. Apparently there's been problems with that penalty spot before?

Penalty spot looked awful even on TV.

Player should hold his head high he's a great player and will redeem himself several times into the future!

just seen someone has put the penalty miss on social media. i've no love for Derrylaughan but that is just plain wrong as every Tom Dick and Harry will now see it and it'll not do the lad's confidence any good.

Was waiting for that to happen and was hoping it wouldn't - something joe.ie or some idiot will try and get clicks for. Like the Niall Morgan playing full back garbage that they pushed!

Such is the social media world unfortunately. Same with the fella scoring the own point yesterday I suppose.

Will it ever end

The penalty spot was in atrocious condition, absolutely shocking that was let go.

Agree the penalty spot looked horrendous, but what could be done? A retake?

Derrylaughan should sue Edendork for the shape of that penalty spot  ;)

In all seriousness pitch conditions should be a consideration for championship games. Edendork constantly get games, there is a lot of positives with their grounds but missing a stand is a major downfall, a stand should be compulsory for championship games as well as an adequate playing surface.

O'Neill Park should be ready for next years championship, big boost to have another facility and surface like that become available again.

Great venue, always let down by a poor playing surface, (the grass was never cut) but that should be all rectified. It should be another late night venue which is a big boost to the county. Always liked O'Neill Park.

Under Lights

I believe there is a huge GAA grant for floodlighting throughout Ireland. One new project in every county. Dugannon got the go ahead for the Tyrone ground.

That beating tonight was not unlike clonoes last year. That's the worst Coalisland team I've seen in years. Carmen's full forward must of been laughing when they seen that full back line lining up christ more pace in the masters full back line.
Carmen will stroll to a final now.
