No music needed at all........all it took was the piss taking on the bus to the match about how I was going to get taken to the cleaners by the opposition (and the regulation fine system for each mistake made).....

Easy enough to administer...

Fines were levied on a 1, 2 & 5 Euro basis depending on the offence......all monies received were put towards an end of season bash...a book was kept and the individual fines were recorded from training/games with the final monetary amount due as kitty at end of season....

Obviously the greater the offence the greater the fine.....

EG Missing a simple goal chance was a 5 Euro fine....Being beaten by a bouncing ball also....being late for training/games
A 2 Euro fine was something like slipping going into a tackle, miskicks etc...missing from crazy shots etc
A 1 Euro fine was something like dropping a ball during drills or warmup...

Basically the system was put in place to
A - Build morale (subs not playing or injured players used to run it on the sidelines during games calling out fines as they happened)
B - To ensure players concentrated really hard on the basics
C - To have a great night out....

Whats the puishment for a missed tackle?

Paul Casey must be out a fortune....

f**k sake I'd blow my wages if that was implemented at our club! Certain 'rats' ;) would just flat refuse to pay!
Somewhere, somehow, someone's going to pay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPhISgw3I2w

The "pay to play" players could just save the money and donate it to the "pay for play" players

Then the GPA might respect the club player a bit more ;)
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera

A man after my own heart Lynchboy!! You can't beat the riff at the start of Raining Blood  :) I'd have to add in Metallica - Seek and Destroy, Pantera - Walk  or Thin Lizzy - Emerald
St. Patricks GFC - Louth SFC Champions 2003, 2004, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2014 & 2015

Emerald - yes what a song my Fave from TL, could I offer up a 'massacre' by Thin Lizzy also ...or even a 'Thunder and lightning'

Metallica - where do you start - apart from 'Am I Evil' I also used to get great motivational source from 'Fight fire with fire', 'Four Horsemen' and 'Phantom lord'

just finished reading Friday Night Lights (about a high school football team in texas). their psych up music (in the 80's mind you!) was mainly bon jovi for the white boys and public enemy for the black boys. best tune imo tho was billy joels 'This is the time'...
