An Watcher

Standard or maybe the way football is played has gone to shit over the years.  Hardly ever watch motd now but if I do it's the analysis I enjoy.  Couldn't tell you the last time I watched 90 mins

A few of the condolences

Sincere sympathy to the immediate and extended Kearns family, and also to Liam's many friends and Gaa supporters on the death of Liam. He came across as a man who strived hard to improve teams/people's lives and did so in a very genuine way, win, lose or draw. May he Rest in Peace.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Liam's sudden death. I got to know him very well when he was Manager of the Tipperary Senior Football Team and I was the coach driver. We had great times with him. Sincere sympathy to his wife Angela and family. Rest in peace Liam.
Seamus Mulcahy Cashel

So sorry to hear of Liam's sudden passing. I met him in Galway last Summer in An Pucan with his lovely wife. He was partaking in a GAA show. He seemed like such a gentleman and his wife, a lovely lady. We are thinking of you. RIP Liam
Elaine Reeves Michael Verney

My deepest sympathies to Angela, Rachel, Laura, parents and siblings and the extended Kearns family on the heartbreaking and sad passing of Liam. I had the honour & privilege to work with Liam in his term as Tipperary football manager. While the journey he took the county on was stuff dreams are made of, particularly the epic days against Derry up in Cavan & Galway in Croke Park, to an All Ireland semi-final against Mayo, I don't think I ever saw him smile so wide as the afternoon in Semple Stadium when he told me of the elation at the birth of his first grandchild earlier that day, magical. Rest in peace dear friend and thanks for the memories.
Joe Bracken, former PRO Tipperary Co Board

Thoughts with Family. Rest in peace Liam.
Charlie Nelligan

My most sincere Sympathy to you Angela and Rachel & Laura on the Passing of Liam He made me feel so proud when my native county played my adopted county in 2016 May he rest in peace
Jim Hogan The Village Templederry & Westport Co Mayo

Sincere sympathies to Angela, Rachel, Laura and the extended Kearns family on the sad passing of Liam. He was that person that everyone wanted to work with, play under and whose company you wanted to share. May He Rest in Peace.
John Kiely, Limerick

Deepest condolences to the Kearns family and to Liam's friends, I am the son of a Kerry man and had great days in Croke Park, but the greatest day for me was when Tipp beat Galway playing swashbuckling football- I left that stadium 8 feet tall. Rest in peace Liam thanks for the memories

Side note/fearon moment - although the Fosbury Flop was famous it could equally have been the Dick Flop or Floppy Dick.

Thats all for now. Thoughts are a funny thing
