What a player. He was in the to 2 or 3 players for about 10 years. Shame the way he ended his career though.

he should have got a way with the head butt during the match, apparently its only because the ref seen the replay on the big screens that he sent him off

Just saw the first 15 minutes. There was some classic footage of him in action. The best footballer since Maradona. Reminded of that story (could be an urban myth) when Ray Harford, then manager of Blackburn expressed an interest in signing him while he was still at Bordeaux. Jack Walker wanted to know why he'd want Zidane when they had Tim Sherwood  :D
