I stand corrected, Schuab hasnt gone, but his contract has expired.  :-[

While I wouldnt ever recommend having a rookie start at QB some times it happens, just like last season, (Vince Young). Or by the end of the season they are getting a few games. Its hard to guess who goes no.1, Would the Raiders be better off trading down and getting a couple of first rounders instead. They have too many gaps to fill right now.

I think they let matt Schuab go in Free Agency if im not mistaken. And patrick Kerney  ???  Hopefully John Abraham will be healthy next season.

I wouldnt say either are no.1s. Im not sure if any player wants to end up in Oakland no matter what the money is.
Speaking of cannon arms, look at Michael Vick, great athelete, rocket arm that could break fingers but he's doing no-one not even himself any favours in Atlanta.

Anyone casting an eye over he up coming draft. Who would you prefer as a QB Jamarcus Russell or Brady Quinn. Even tho I follow the Irish I feel Russell is better, Quinn would be a work in progress QB, I cant see him starting in his 1st season. Russell has the potential to be a starter, i think.

GAA Discussion / Dublin Vs Kerry In Croker
March 21, 2007, 01:51:38 PM
Dublins NFL game Vs Kerry could well be played in Croker depending on a request from DCC. And whether there'd be much interest from Kerry to travel up for the game.

I think the Craigavon Cowboys are making a comeback either this season or the next, would that lure you back across the water and out of retirement ;D

Re Syd: Hard Luck with the Browns, Im starting to feel the same as i started following the Falcons after they reached the superbowl a few years back, now they seem to be stuck in reverse.

I play for the Dragons, and Ive tried to juggle GAA and Gridiron for the last few seasons, and its a big burden on the body. Especially going to work on a monday morning with a limp and swollen fingers and a busted head.

As for the Rebels, well someone better stop em soon, hope it will be us.

General discussion / Re: Ireland of the welcomes

The people in this video are the scum of ireland and the earth. They are in every town and city in ireland. They are dragging this country down with their brainless thuggery, bullying and racism. Why dont these people do the rest of us a favour and jump into the atlantic with some heavy weights on their ankles.

I remember a friend of mine starting getting racist after a night out and starting shouting racist comments out the window of the car we were driving in. I havent spoken to him since, that was about 4 years ago. i dont associate with racists

Wish I was home to watch the club finals, i love going to them, Pity TG4 arent showing them online, dont know why they show everything but the games online. One of the biggest draws for TG4 is their GAA coverage.

Ta me ar buile >:(

GAA Discussion / Re: Seating on Hill 16

I think the hill should be kept as terrace, way better athmosphere at the games with the hill there. And lay off the Dubs, i really cant believe some peoples attitude towards them sometimes.

GAA Discussion / GAA Supporters Clubs
March 15, 2007, 09:55:25 AM
Does anyone else think their supporters club is quite limited. I am looking to join the Meath supporters club and i just found the whole thing very poor. I just think the supporters clubs coulb do more than sending you a car sticker and raffle tickets. One lad mentioned that if the supporters club arranged transport for members to away league matches, it would be great. Think about it. if for instance this year Meath had a game in Sligo, Antrim, if there was a bus going to and from those games from Navan, im sure there would be a load more going to those games.

GAA Discussion / Re: What A Bloody Shambles

Well with the right PR the GAA filled Croke park with 82,500 people for a league opener!!!!  So maybe if they got their finger out and put some promotion behind the league final people would go to it. the GAA seem very reluctant to promote the league for some reason. The lack of promo for the hurling league is very bad too. Why dont they play the Div2 finals of Football and hurling in a smaller venue and the Div 1 finals of Football and hurling in Croker as a double bill, now that would sell out!!

I think it might give Meath hurling the kick up the Arse it needs. While it would be better that the improvements came from within the county, Eoins involvment will possibly speed up the process for us.
