A good win for Kildare in the end a superb performance from Neil Flynn with 1-7 and I have to say that was the worst refereeing performance I've seen I years some of the frees given to Offaly were scandalous it was Cormac Reilly levels of bad. Great to see such guts and fight in second half previous kildare teams would self destruct when things were going against us these boys dug in well and deserved the win for the second half performance. Will need to be better the next day against Westmeath especially after the hiding they gave Laois.

He was bad for both teams I thought, we were Dublinesque with our steps at times. The red card was farcical though.

The red card was hilarious it was so bad I suppose I'm biased only noticed the soft calls against us. On another happier note Laois have to be the worst team in Ireland at this point.

Down absolutely abysmal 15 men behind the ball marking space yet Donegal are always in space for one score there were 3 down defenders running away from the scorer with their back turned. Awful hateful stuff.

That first half performance was the best I've ever seen from any  kildare team in croke park. The tears were streaming down my face when the lads went up to lift the trophy and now as I rest my sore head we can look forward to the future with real hope.

Best ref in the country.

Coldrick and Cormac Reilly both in the mix too surely.

The top 3 of disgraceful refs alright.

Absolute nonsense should be personal choice no doubt some nonsense of a committee came up with this to justify their existence also extremely pedantic of ref should have been let go

If he gets a few teeth knocked out of his head, will he pay for it himself then?

No gumshield,no insurance and it's not put in place by some "nonsense" of a committee,it's a stipulation of the insurance company

He was told by the ref to get a gum shield and he goes and sticks it in his sock

Fully deserved yellow card

Absolute rubbish he was on his way to get gumshield when ball was kicked to him none of the other players knew he'd been sent to get gumshield and was then given second yellow fully deserved 😂😂

One off win doesn't make up for bad league relegations, Cork knackered anyway, etc. Couple suggested they need to rattle Kerry for him to be kept.
You couldn't make it up.

Shower of morons I wonder how many of them were even at the game?

It's a long time since I walked out of a game as proud as that. What a performance Paul Cribben was worth the 20 quid alone
