It really is. He'll be  66 years dead in February and a lot  of his songs still really well known

One of my favourite musicians. Unbelievable body of work by the age of 22.  The Beatles were heavily influenced by him and even their name was inspired by the Crickets. Bob Dylan was in the audience at the last concert!
