This really is the last chance saloon for this group of Mayo players.

Rochford will not get the fools pardon he got last year for the goalkeeping fiasco and I have it on good authority McEntee may not be taking up the post next year due to being sick of the travelling.

Its all or nothing now

How much has Maureen spent?
That was completely dire. How any fan can be happy watching it or even happy with a point is truely amazing.

Pep tried to play. Went for the win and made positive substitutions. 4th in the bag for city and Liverpool now. Utd getting what they deserve. Another season of Thursday night football
And if they win the EL? Do they still play on Thursday ?

Obviously not but do you really believe they are capable of winning EL?

Bar Rashford scoring a breakaway goal they don't look like a team capable of stringing a few positive results together

As a neutral in this what I and a few others find baffling is the length of the ban considering what, for example, Davy Fitz got.
Surely the GAA have to be transparent and consistent?

Dessie has been doing his homework anyway. Don't think this game will be nearly as open as the Kerry game which was basically both sides kicking long kick outs and whoever wins it in midfield goes on the attack. I think Dessie will get plenty behind the ball and utilise more short kicks outs. Especially if he feels Galway have an advantage in midfield.

QuoteDessie Farrell is wary of the challenge that Galway will present to his Dublin team in the last-ever All-Ireland U21 FC final this weekend.

The "refreshing" Tribesmen recovered from a five-point interval deficit against defending champions Mayo en route to Connacht glory and led by 1-7 to 0-1 after ten minutes as they stunned competition favourites Kerry in their All-Ireland semi-final. Farrell accepts that the Dubs are in for a real battle at Tullamore on Saturday evening:

"They raced out of the blocks against Kerry and showed just how strong a team they are," he tells the Dublin GAA website. "I have watched that match back a number of times and the more times I look at it, the more impressed I am by them.

"They are strong in every line of the pitch with two excellent wing backs and their midfield pairing offered a great platform against Kerry. They have some excellent forwards too and have put up some decent tallies in their campaign so far.

"Their style of play is refreshing for the modern game and they have a manner of playing that is really enjoyable to watch. All the players seem very comfortable on the ball and we are under no illusions as to the extent of the challenge that they will present to us."

Cliches & soundbites.

Well done Dessie  ::) ::)

Given the way Galway set up if they switch of in this game the Dubs could do serious damage and put the game out of sight.

Was refreshing to see Galway open the game v Kerry and go at them. Kerry were completely shell shocked.

Would love to see them win but if you can get evens on Dublin you should snap it up

Complete rip off for everything

Try to avoid at all costs unless it is football related

His reputation has preceded him here in much the same way than when he got the jail sentence.

While he does come across as a bit of a tube he is being made an example of.

Complete hypocrisy by all involved considering the amounts of money that comes from betting companies and is pumped into the game.

BTW the amount of losing bets he had is shocking. A shite punter. 10 odd bets in Newcastle/PSV game with zero coming through  :-\

Van Dijk is a good defender but £50m.
Seriously?

Far too much for him - half that would be enough

Half that won't buy him and he's pretty good IMO, Southampton will get 50M for him alright, the market will decide the price ala John Stones.

Stones was completely inflated because he is English.

£30m would be plenty for Van Dijk

He allegedly threatened poor wee Joe.
Already appealed and it failed.

Davy Fitz should thank his lucky stars he isn't from north of the border

I would have threatening a referee as a more serious offence than a bit of argy bargy with the opposition players, even if it was on the field of play.

So actually going on the field of play, giving the ref a mouthful and perhaps threatening or calling him a bollix, then getting physically involved with players of opposing team before leaving the field is worse than allegedly threatening.

Right so Ted

While it is always good to see an Apple muncher get a ban surely 12 weeks is a bit much considering other recent bans.
Joe McQuillan v all northern brethren perhaps??

Albufeira is a decent spot. Quiet enough for a relaxing holiday but you can head to down to the strip if you fancy a night on the tiles.
Transfer is a bit of a bitch mind.

Greizman seems the only world class player that Utd are linked to.
He would truely make a difference to any team.
