Did Mark Bradley play?

He did, yeah. Heard he's heading to America and that was his last game.

It would completely balls up the starred system for club games though.

Says the man whose club benefit greatly from the starred system, due to no county players

I'm not arguing either for or against just stating facts that the current starred system will be difficult to maintain if there were different county players available week to week dependent on who would be released for club games.

After round one half complete we can begin to see the importance of finishing 2nd for the preliminary qfs. With tyrone and Kerry losing we can safely assume they won't be finishing 1st. Very strong possibility of Dublin and Derry topping their groups so we could see the following in the preliminary.

2nd Place

Tyrone (choosing tyrone as a i have them slight favs home advantage plus 2 week break)
Kerry
Monaghan (putting them ahead of Donegal)
Rossies

3rd Place

Louth/Cork
Armagh
Kildare
Donegal

Going to be a huge advantage securing 2nd over 3rd place, slipping into 3rd suddenly makes getting to the QFs a huge ask. Who is going to fancy a trip to Kilarney or Clones in a do or die game?

Surely there was a back up keeper, I'd say they put Petey in as they didn't want to use up a sub at that stage. Especially being down to 14 and likely to need to freshen up later in 2md half.

Thought there'd be more chat here after the first weekend of club games. We'd a good win up in Greencastle, certainly a better start than last year!

Agree that Burns' tackle was dangerous enough to warrant a red. The issue for me will be consistency going forward in other games during the summer.

According to a significant Mayo twitter personality Tyrone gave Mayo a strong showing in a challenge match recently.

Come on, that was a free all day long. Murry clearly pushed him in the back, stupid stupid stupid considering there were 3 Derry men there.

Another accident on a5 and its closed according to twitter

Saw a stat on twitter earlier regarding this...since the a4 from Ballygawley to Dungannon has been opened 2 people have died. Over the same time frame 34 have now lost their lives on the (albeit longer stretch) a5.

Absolutely disgusting that this project has still been stalled due to underhand legal protests by the aa5a.

My number 1 tip would be to be invest in a half decent bluetooth speaker. Kids love music and you can get so much exercise and movement created simply by playing music and getting them to star jump, hop, run fast/slow and pause when music stops.

I focus on simple things like moving round the space and bounce ball 10 times, throw then catch the ball in the basket. Kids love it when you introduce adults who'll then try to knock the ball out of the basket, gets them to focus and finding space and improving their peripheral vision by avoiding collisions.

Interesting reading the debate around whether 6.5s should play games at the end of the session. I've looked after the age bracket for 6+ years and if you ask kids the one thing they want to do its games. Still think there's room for very small sided, fun-focused games.

Joe Oguz can feel pretty hard done by here but Fergal and Brian likely still have nightmares about the ease with which Mayo cut through us for goals. O'Neill provides more covet around that 6 channel and we'll likely see Oguz come on in the 2nd half for McGeary.
