With the advent of the box-set (not to mention high speed downloading) it is now possible to watch entire shows in a matter of weeks. I was a massive fan of the Sopranos and was recommended The Wire, which was the first show where I would watch two or three episodes a night. I'm currently steadily making my way through Deadwood, which I find fantastic. So, has anyone any recommendations for what should be next on the list?

So far I've been told to see:

Fringe
Dexter

Gabriel_Hurl

Oz
Band of Brothers
Generation Kill

5 Sams

The Office
Fawlty Towers
Only Fools
60,61,68,91,94
The Aristocrat Years

The Real Laoislad

Heroes
Prison Break
Band of Brothers (best TV show ever)
You'll Never Walk Alone.

Archie Mitchell

The Wire
Entourage
The Office US
Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Father Ted
Breaking Bad
Peep Show

Currently watching Oz and Mad Men. Also meaning to watch Curb Your Enthusiam and possibly The Soprano's and Band of Brothers as i've heard so much about them.

ziggysego

Quantum Leap
Red Dwarf
Blackadder
Only Fools and Horses
Peep Show
Steve Coogan (All his shows in one box set)
The Office (UK)

I've had a lot of free time over the last while so I've made my way through quite a few box sets/series of shows here are what I can remember and most of them start out great for the first 3 series but then dwindle away. Unfortunately I still  have to watch them though. Anyways here goes...

Sopranos
Father Ted
House
Heroes
24
The West Wing
The Office (And the Office US)
Extras
Scrubs
Friends
How I Met Your Mother
The Wire
Big Bang Theory
2 and a Half Men
Sports Night (Rarely heard of Sitcom written by Aaron Sorkin which is excellent)
South Park
Family Guy
Smallville
Criminal Minds
Dexter
Weeds
Outnumbered

Got the box set of The Wire yesterday. Will hopefully get to watch some of series 1 over the weekend. I can now add it to my collection, which consists of the box set of Porridge on video.
I don't really watch much TV, though I have been meaning to get the box set of Oz.

Saw the boxset for the Wire for £70 in HMV today. Is Band Of Brothers as good as they say, have never seen any of it before.

Yes it's as good as they say.
