Anyone have any experience of Fibrus? I see they are 'in my locality' now!

Flip due to rights restrictions in your region its not available on the app

Go to permissions on the app and ensure you allow location.

That was my issue.

Snoop

I was over last week and had the same query. There doesnt appear to be a coach from John Lennon to Manchester.

I took a bus from the airport to Parkway South which is 15/20 mins and there depending you might get a train to Manchester or you can take a 5 min train to Lime St where options are greater.

A taxi from JLA to Parkway was £15 for a 2 mile journey so avoid that. The bus is £2.

Seems odd you have to go back to Liverpool and back on yourself to get to Manchester.

Cucurella looks out of his depth at Chelsea. He had one season at Brighton and Chelsea paid 50m.

I think potter seems a bit out of his depth too.

Probably is. They had some good results in Europe but they have been very poor in the League. He brought on a few young players who gave mo,re then some of the egos like Aubameyang.

Chelsea with 9 players out injured and Potter has adopted a squad that needs overhauled. I'm not sure it's going to work out but he needs time.

Probably not the right thread for this but I'll ask anyway.

I am arriving in John Lennon Airport on Sunday morning at 930am and need to go to Manchester. Was going to go to Liverpool Parkway and get the train but it's telling me it'll take 2 x hours as it's using a replacement bus service

https://www.buytickets.northernrailway.co.uk/book/results?origin=03b7ef8423758a654389c468376ed3f5&destination=93583656327762b2e1831bdac48db2eb&outwardDate=2023-01-08T09%3A00%3A00&outwardDateType=departAfter&journeySearchType=single&passengers%5B%5D=1993-01-04&directSearch=false&selectedOutward=hYV1SR20NF0%3D%3ANyJ3mXDW9pk%3D

The network strike ends on Sat and there are no updates on the website regarding any other issue. I thought even there might have been regular coaches from Liverpool airport to Manchester direct but can't see anything.

Is there a better way to get to Manchester or is it a case of the strikes are buggering everything?

You have to get bus/train from Liverpool center or parkway , so get the bus into Liverpool from airport (£2) and get then train out to Manchester or get taxi from Liverpool airport.. Was over recently and friends had to do that and it was a hassle for them

Great airport for just going to Liverpool but no real direct routes from the airport to other places

Cheers- Just seen a route from Parkway to Lime Street and then train to Manchester. A wee bit of going back on myself but it looks like it'll have to do. 90 mins from Parkway to Manchester City Centre to do a 30 mile journey!

Thanks for replying!

I'd say Tyrone is probably the most competitive county top to bottom, which leaves junior and intermediate very strong, but I would also say the top senior teams aren't as strong as the top clubs in other counties, which is demonstrated in the Ulster club results across all grades

Which is why I posted, if intermediate is as competitive then the train of thought by some Tyrone posters, that because senior is so competitive they are spent by the time the Ulster club comes along!

Watched a good few club games with Tyrone clubs over the years at all levels and it's very good, they just for whatever reason are poor at senior

Its because Intermediate and Junior will generally have 9 'new teams' every year.
Senior will have 4/5 teams who've featured multiple times in the last decade bar Tyrone who provide a new team every year.

Complete change of subject.

Are there any decent bars in Belfast to watch the football this Saturday? Google is telling me Franklins. Any thoughts?

Have Tyrone released their 2023 National League/ master fixtures yet?

From Roundball a few pages back Norf, and not sure that anything official has been published just yet:

Looks like provisional league fixtures are as follows:

Round 1: Sunday January 29th
Tyrone v Roscommon away.

Round 2: Sat Feb 4th/Sun Feb 9th
Tyrone v Donegal home.

Round 3: Sat Feb 17th/ Sun Feb 18th.
Tyrone v Galway home.

Round 4: Sat Feb 25th/Sun Feb 26th.
Tyrone v Mayo away.

Round 5: Sat March 4th/Sun March 5th.
Tyrone v Kerry home.

Round 6: Sat March 18th/Sun March 19th.
Tyrone v Monaghan away.

Round 7: Sunday March 26th.
Tyrone v Armagh home.
The Galway is in Tuam according to one of the Galway pages.

Cheers lads. Dates on them are a bit all over the place but I get the gist.

Was hoping the Sat or Sun query was closed at this point.

Thanks

OK - I've been here a long time on this board (ever since it ran on a WWWboard CGI script, through to two EZboard variations and then finally on its own server) and the T***yreagh shtick comes from a time when (most) posters on this board whilst otherwise very knowledgeable in GAA affairs didn't take themselves too seriously. Long time members of this forum know who I am & that includes several from T***yreagh, not one of whom has evergiven me grief over my self-censoring because unlike some on here who really need to pull that stick out of their arseholes, they get the joke. We're both more than capable of giving & taking it.

If you find it a problem, deal with it.

And if you think I'm bad, I know one guy from Edendork whom refers to O'Neill Park as Ibrox.

Your longevity on this board doesn't annul your nuisances.

You go into excruciating detail over the most irrelevant topics.

Well. I like the detail.

How is Facebook funding WhatsApp? It has become (nearly) indespensible across business, community, social, voluntary, family etc etc

I assume they are data mining off users in terms of habits etc
