If football matches were always like that tonight then every county would need a ground the size of Croke Park. Two teams playing end to end. Great scores, missed chances; this game had it. Well done both teams and officials. Glad Armagh won!

But but but.... some say that it's only a rubbish competition.....

Lack of interest in this competition on here. Had to post tonights semi final result and quarter final results in this thread because there is no U20 Ulster football thread...

Banty's babes prevail over Derry in the Ulster final  1-09  to 0-09.   A tight game  with a converted penalty late on being the difference on the scorecard.
The Northern Sound commentary team hovered  between nervous excited constipation and extremely strained painful constipation, finally they both rode home the last minutes in triumphant fashion, not unlike Slim Pickins straddling the A bomb at the end of Dr Strangelove.

Well done Banty and the boys. Good to bounce back after being pipped by Derry in the preliminary round. Winning can only be a good thing for them young fellas.

Great to see another successful underage team coming up. The last Ulster minor winning team had the likes of McCarthy and McAnespie, lads who come up expecting to win rather than just making up the numbers, and that attitude sticks with them all the way through to Senior. Good bunch of lads there, hopefully they can keep it going.

Really hope Banty gets another chance with Monaghan seniors. He has unfinished business
